I'm still lurking on here and love reading about your outfits.
Daisybella, what is your discount card for Tesco?
Goanmad, are there any jumble sales coming up in Birmingham? I'm coming down with my daughter and would love to go to one because we don't have any round here anymore.
Piratefairy, could you give me the link to your blog please?0 -

Afternoon, gang! What a truly disgusting day. I've spent it revamping furniture - a couple of my creations are now on my blog.
Mariel - it's nice to see you over here, I'm used to us sharing our second-hand finds over on the eBay board!
DaydreamBeliever - There's a flea market taking place at the Hare and Hounds, High Street, Kings Heath on Sunday 6th December from 1-5pm. I'm tempted but it's my birthday and I'm not sure what's in store for me.
Off for a shower in a mo but wearing for the next 5 minutes:
Vintage orange and black mini dress (reworked from a maxi, vintage fashion fayre)
Black opaques
Purple leather knee high platform boots (Chazza shop)
Black TopShop boyfriend cardi (Car boot)
Horse brass pendant (Car boot and hand-made)
Huge gold hoop earrings (Chazza shop range of new jewellery)
Brass bangles and rings (Car boots and markets)
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, my lovelies!

That reminds me - I'm going to a vintage fashion fair next week and I've no idea at all what to expect. Are things generally ridiculously priced or reasonable? I've looked this one up online and it seems to be a one-off rather than a touring one.(IYKWIM!)
I'm really looking forward to it especially since it is being held in one of my favourite places

Usually a wide range of prices and goodies from 1960's starlet make-up mirrors for 99p to 1920's couture gowns for a few thousand quid. There's always a few bargains to be had and if nothing else it's a nice day out and a chance to try on some beautiful vintage frocks.0 -
Ooh, I'm liking the sound of that!0

Thanks goanmad but Sunday isn't a good day as we'll be coming on the train and the service isn't too good. We were thinking maybe the following Wednesday or Friday.0
