DH has been home so while doing nothing particularly exciting, we've been having fun together. Most ridiculous thing we did this weekend was buy a huge canvas and try to get our dog dog to lie down on it so we could draw round her (artistic, us?:D..missing thedrawing gene!) so we could do a collaborative painting/colouring in of her. We managed to strech the canvas a lot before giving up and getting her to standnext to it and get key points marked on...it looks more like the cartoon dog courage than it look like her, but hey, its fun and its something that made us laugh together:o :) For this great activity I wore a vest and knickers:D

I can just picture it now - that so made me laugh!

Well, not a particularly exciting weekend for me, just work both days, but I've got a few days off now, and I've got plenty to do, including a good charity shop trawl. I might even hop on a train and go a bit further afield. However, right now I'm sitting watching Father Ted, with a glass of cava (from M&S glitch last week), hoping the wind isn't going to take my roof off - it's wicked out there tonight.

    Earlier today I was wearing:
grey checked full skirt (looks a bit 80s Westwood)
black 3/4 sleeve scoop neck top
    red wool tights
    Caterpillar short biker boots

    Now:
    yoga pants
    stripy tshirt
    grey felt Mary Jane slippers

Get well soon Daisybella - I was exactly the same, had the attention span of a goldfish and couldn't be bothered with any of my fave links either. Hope you've got plenty of choc to cheer yourself up with.

Thanks for the get well wishes, I am feeling slightly better today, just a hacking cough to contend with!
Gotta head out to the doctors in a bit (oh, what I'd give to not have to go) and it's gale force wind and pouring rain outside. I intended to be extravagent and splash out £3.50 (for a 4 minute journey ) on a taxi; as the buses here are non-existent and just as expensive, instead of walking like usual, but they are fully booked
    Not amused,
but still, I am used to walking everywhere and a bit of rain never hurt anyone, right? :rotfl:

    Wearing:

"Rock and Roll" black jumper dress: New Look
Black leggings with studs down both sides: New Look
    Grey chunky bf cardigan: Primark
Grey just under knee length flat grey boots: Primark
    Black winter coat: Jane Norman
Black hand-made mittens: gift from a friend and oh so warm
    Black snood: Next

(if I don't return by lunch time, you know I got swept away by the wind and I'm in Oz ;))
  • I apologise for my lack of weekend appearances, have been at my boyfriend's this weekend. It was muchos fun - we watched the rugby in the pub on Saturday, went out for dinner with his sister and her boyfriend on Saturday, and then met up with some friends yesterday afternoon.

I'm back at work today, and today's outfit is:

    - Red scoop neck and scoop back three quarter sleeve top (Dorothy Perkins)
    - Charcoal grey wide leg trousers (French Connection via sister)
    - Cream quilted pumps with black patent toes (New Look)
    - Black military style flared jacket (New Look) to come into work
    - Multicoloured stripey scarf, beanie hat and mittens (Accessorize) to come into work
    - Brown leather handbag (21st birthday present from parents)
    - Silver initial necklace (Tiffany, Christmas 2006 present from parents)
    - Amber and silver earrings (20th birthday present from boyfriend, bought in a market somewhere in eastern Europe)
    - Silver and diamond ring (Hot Diamonds, 18th birthday present from parents)
    - Silver watch (Storm, 21st birthday present from boyfriend)
    - Silver bracelet with black and pearl-type beads (graduation present from parents)

Hair is straightened then mussed up with spray wax, perfume is Body Shop Aqua Lily (I'm getting a bit fed up of this now but my rule is no new perfume until I've nearly used all of the first one), and nail polish is Nails Inc Victoria.

In work until around half five, then home to do my workout and more interview prep for Thursday. I just did the psychometric core values test they sent me and am a bit worried that I came across as annoyingly balanced, but I can't help it - that's what I'm like!

    Have a good Monday everyone!

Matalan do some really pretty sets but my bust is too big for them. If you are smaller than a D cup it's worth checking out.

Today, I'm in Black long sleeve t and leggings from new look. Black chunky knee high boots and my new grey jumper dress from Joe Browns. Today is it's first outing. I haven't decided on jewellery yet.

  • Happy Monday everyone.

Has everyone got the disgusting windy/monsoon/hailstone weather we have had here all weekend?

My weekend consisted of getting the keys to the new house(YAY), signing away a large amount of money(BOO) and lots of painting, cabling and other DIY things that I am not brilliant at! Weekend wardrobe has been paint splattered leggings and oversized tshirts.

Back to work today, leaving OH to do exciting jobs such as tiling 3 bathroom floors and taking delivery of a lot of slate tiles for the kitchen.

    Today I am wearing

    Dark skinny jeans, Primark, £8
    Black long tshirt, H&M, £4
Black and white check shirt, Primark, £6
    Red boyfriend cardigan, Primark, £10
    Fake uggs, Matalan, £5

Accessorized with a load of dust, as I have found out camping out in a house with no carpets and sleeping on an airbed causes grumpiness and a lot of dusty clothes!

    I've been Money Tipped!
DH bought me a lovely pair of knickers from accesorise this week, frilly and pretty..I've got some other accesorise undies that I've had for years, amazing value for underwear. I do hand wash all my delcates though, that helps I think.
