Caroline, my work uniform involves navy and black too. Sexy, non?!
(actually, I quite like the combination, just not polyester style!)0 -
It's the polo shirt that hurts the most0

Tis very quiet on here this weekend, I hope everyone is off doing exciting things!
Still feeling rotten,
I'm desperate to do a bit of online shopping, after some ebay selling success this week,
but I'm tired of all my old favourite links
and I'm not finding a lot on ebay.
Wearing
Black harem trousers: Zara
White long sleeve top with jewel neck detail: River Island
Black bf cardi: Primark
Black ballet flats: Next
I was in PJs till about ten minutes ago, but I need to nip to Tesco for essentials (read, newspaper, sweets and herbal tea bags!)0 -

Exciting things? Ha! I wish! Sorry you're still not feeling so good. The Tesco goodies stock-up sounds a good idea!
Catching up on paperwork (eventually) atm.......procrastination is my biggest weakness, when it comes to doing stuff I don't fancy doing. I so need a deadline to get me to move my b*tt!! So much time wasted while I'm in avoidance mode, plus that horrid feeling of having something hanging over you and not really enjoying doing other stuff cos of the 'guilty' feeling. When will I learn? (Never is actually probably the answer to that!!). Anyway, the good news is, it's nearly done and has actually only taken me a couple of hours. Such a silly moo I am!
Anyway, black all the way today:o. Jumper dress and opaques for warmth and comfort!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend, ladies!0 -
Happy Sunday all. Today I'm going to the German Christmas Market with OH, baking cupcakes and listening to some classic Motown. Such a great way to spend a Sunday!
Purple wool dress
Purple tights
Brown brogues
Tan leather plaited belt
Brown knitted hat
Owl face ring
Nameplate necklace
And my cream mac when we venture outside. Will update my blog later!

DH has been home so while doing nothing particularly exciting, we've been having fun together. Most ridiculous thing we did this weekend was buy a huge canvas and try to get our dog dog to lie down on it so we could draw round her (artistic, us?:D..missing thedrawing gene!) so we could do a collaborative painting/colouring in of her. We managed to strech the canvas a lot before giving up and getting her to standnext to it and get key points marked on...it looks more like the cartoon dog courage than it look like her, but hey, its fun and its something that made us laugh together:oFor this great activity I wore a vest and knickers:D
DH did just today get a couple of shirts from a monsoon sale, and a pair of pink linen trousers for next summer from somewhere else. Monsoon have some lovely chunky knits for men but were sold out of the smaller sizes where we were.
Daisybella, hope you feel better soon.0 -
Hi everyone,
Hope you are all well.
Just catching up after the visit to see my parents in Bristol. I went to the big Primark and wow! I could have spent the day there. Managed to get some great bits and not spend much money.
I picked up:
*2 long cardis, one navy and grey striped the other black with a cerise and red stripe detail across the bust. (£10 each)
*2 long sleeved tops with puffy shoulders, one navy, one teal (£2.50 each)
*Gold rose broach with pearl in the centre (£1.50)
*gold spangly stretchy belt with a seashell clasp (looks like a cockle shell opened out) (reduced to £1)
*set of 3 bangles, 2 purple and one gold with a floral design (£1)
*Hat in a grey tweedy fabric with a peak, sort of 60's style with assorted buttons at the side and black velvet trim (£3) I don't wear hats but this is so cute and really brings an outfit together plus I don't have to style (or even brush) my hair if I'm feeling lazy!
*glove 2 set, one pair black, the second silvery grey fingerless to wear together or fingerless will be good for buggy walks when I might be called upon to open a banana or change a nappy with minimal notice!
Anyway a very sucessful trip cut short by the need to get back for "stay and play" at the local Children's Centre!
Today was a day of cleaning and laundry accompanied by a very bad attempt at potty training my DS so outfit is not worth commenting on...0 -

How long did you stay in Primark?
my record was two hours :eek:0 -
It was just over 2 hours when I realised the time and had to make a mad dash out of there! Didn't even look at undies, men's or kids clothes.0

Haha, you'll have to come back soon!0
