I wouldn't worry about a bit of pot smoking. A lot of people experiment with it when they're young and no harm comes from it. As long as he isn't on it all the time and doesn't try more dangerous drugs, I wouldn't stress about it.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member No.11.

RD - please take this in the way it's intended but (depending how old he is) I'd be more worried about the fact he thinks it's ok to have stuff like that on his facebook page. It's public information.
I use FB a lot (mainly to keep in touch with friends as I live somewhere new now, and to share photos) but I'm really careful about my privacy settings and who can view my info.
I cringe when I see some stuff that people put up! I'm about to go off into a *won't someone think of the children* type rant aren't I? I'll stop there, but really, have some dignity! Keep a bit of yourself back *wrings hands!*0 -

Have to say (and yep I'm awaiting the fallout) that I agree. I have never seen the harm in the occasional smoke and to be honest as you say as long as it isn't something you start to rely on it can be controlled.
Kids will experiment, and pot smoking tends to be one of those things. They usually grow out of it.0 -
i would be pleased they aren't boasting about drinking alcohol- liver damage, dead brain cells and oral cancer, nice!0

I'm not on Facebook either and am so glad. If I want to keep in touch with people then I will do it via email, text or phonecall - I don't want people I was in school or college with trying to 'be my friend'. If I was that bothered about being your friend I would have kept in touch all along!!!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

i agree.
if an employee of my company put something like that on their FB page, they'd be dismissed. Regardless of whether they did it in their free time or not."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
