What is weed? is it another name for cannabis and is it legal to smoke it please?

Cannabis laws have changed recently, and it has been reclassified. It is now a Class B drug so it remains illegal to sell, possess, or allow the use of cannabis in your own home, but the police can deal with it, at their discretion, with a caution.
In addition, especially if you've been taking it for a while now, you might want to find out more about the effects and risks of taking cannabis. Cannabis comes in different forms and is taken different ways and each of these can lead to a range in intensity of effects and risks.
Class B- Amphetamines (speed), barbiturates, cannabis, codeine. This class also includes the following less common substances: dexamphetamine, dihydrocodeine (DF0118), methaqualone, methylphenidate hydrochloride (Ritalin), phenmetrazine (Filon);
- Maximum penalties: five years in prison and/or a fine for possession, 14 years in prison and/or a fine for possession with intent to supply.

yep, weed is illegal, and is another name for cannabis. generally, 'weed' is the raw form of the cannabis plant (ie. green and leafy) whereas when people refer to cannabis they often mean the resin form which comes in blocks. both can be smoked, and both are equally illegal!2011 wins: £481Eleventh Heaven: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 110
