Toto, I think she should be registered with Ofsted as a legal requirement from 2010 anyway, so she's going to have to do it. Otherwise, she can only look after (I think) three children as a nanny.

Thanks Maz...only another 14 pounds to go..blimey I might get there for christmas. I want to be able to look good and feel good in jeans and boots or nice shortish skirt with boots and tights this winter!

Maz dont wanna freak you out, but my wee cousin started her periods at 9 !!!

But the sickness could be stress related as well Shannon and her wee pal ( especially) suffer from that

I am very cross....

My DD has not received any SMP since she left work nearly 4 weeks ago....she left a week earlier than she was due to because she wasn't feeling well and since then her employer has been treating her like crap.

Her employer says she is going to pay her monthly from now on (following advice from the Inland Revenue).......and as it has been four weeks on Sat since she got paid DD1 txted her boss to ask if she could call in on Saturday for her wages.......so far no response....

I have just drafted a strongly worded letter as she HAS to pay her SMP by law weekly as per her contract and I want her to know that I know that. I have also asked her to confirm how much she will be getting and when.

Does anyone know what she should do if the response is nothing......Its no good ringing ACAS - I know from bitter experience that they will say - her employer has a legal obligation to pay SMP but getting the money is a completely different matter. I have been paying her up till now!! but I can't afford to pay her any more and she needs to get some money from somewhere....
