as tc companies are so desperate for advertising revenue i dont suppose they do full checks on comapnies wanting to advetise to assertain whether they are legit or not.

Sorry for your experience but I would say by making country selection USA only then you are at fault here I would probably chase them for a refund though.

I have just done the same as you - this website only delivers to the US - so didn't the OP think ... hmmm that is not correct? - you could have done a quick search for the UK equivalent ....

They are in the new argos book, so maybe you could try through there to get hold of the company that way.

I can't believe I found this thread! I have found the same thing. This is the sort of thing my 5 year old daughter loves and I have been trying to find them for ages!

My Argos, although having them listed and in the special offers section, has none available and Amazon has them listed on a weird pre-order although they admit they will have to email you when they get an idea of when they are expecting them in.

I have been wondering about the elusive Bendaroo for a long time!

I think if you read my post it tells you that the order page changes. the order form I filled in did not have only USA. My email invoice has the shipping address in it. I am not stupid. The order form of which you speak does not allow you to put a UK address in it, therefore I would not have been able to have placed the order. I did not make a 'USA' country selection when I placed the order. If I had the actual confirmation email would have shown it as a USA address and not that which I am about to paste from the confirmation email.

City: LondonState / Province: OtherCountry: United Kingdom Zip/Postal code: E6 ***

the co.uk address is not the one on the UK TV advert either and if you look at the co.uk site you do not order directly from it.

Hi Gingin, yep you will see them advertised everywhere, but actually trying to buy some is a different matter, the wikki stix are exactly the same product on Amazon.

I made the original post precisely to warn people from ordering from this site. The TV advert says to order from the web address that doesn't exist, My friend gave me the web address, my son (an adult) who has seen the advert confirmed the url I was using was the one on the advert. the .com one that I eventually ordered it from let you chose your country!

I have been ordering online for about 9 years, I am internet savvy and have never made an error when placing an order, even my own wedding dress was ordered from the States!

I have just found another complaints forum where other people have had exactly the same problems. As I am regardeded a 'noob' on this forum I am unable to post complete url's so take a look at this....

Hey Mark, OP here :-)

Yes that order page you see only has a USA option, Now I would have to be a real Numpty if I ordered something with a USA delivery address and then complained it didnt arrive here inthe UK wouldn't I! That order page is different, the order page I ordered on was not a pop up order page like the one you see when you press the buy now button. It was on the bottom of the front main page, you did not have to click a buy now button to get to it and it had options for the UK..Okay, comprende padre?

Please, being as you have time to make inacurate judgemnents about what I was or was not thinking at the time of ordering, feel free to actually do a UK search yourself and try to order some from, ooh let me see, ANYWHERE!

Oh and I was billed and charged in pounds sterling, not US dollars, was that my error too?

It is looking more and more likely that there IS a scam, even american purchasers have had the same problem. I did not use a 'wrong' web address, the one on the advert does not exist, there were no typos on bahalf of the data inputer when ordering. When ordered from the bendaroos.com website I was given a choice of country, and I chose United Kingdom which I have pasted from the email confirmation into an earlier post.
