I do have hubby and children on my side for most of it, and hubby and I are both scared to go to the bank now, so it's working.
I think he has very good understanding of where we're at, and we have been over spending for some time, so it's still early days, but I am very sure we are never going to spend beyond our means anymore
Good he is on your side. But when you said about the quality of life. I was thinking that perhaps he was not happy with the new tighter reign on spending.
I suppose become Debt free is a little bit like being on a diet. If you go with out for to long you will break down and either spend or stuff your face silly.
You are right it is early days so things can be tweaked along the way. And as with dieting it takes time to get to the end result.
All the best.

So rounding up this week:
The car will go on sunday
I am considering setting up (moving around really) bank accounts for specific reasons Such as DD, Cheque, Cash car, and Savings
I have reviewed my budget, and plan to stick to it
I have called my Utilities and agreed to pay off my debt for G&E and then the direct debit will be reasonable. I've reduced my BT DD to just cover what I use.
Hubby has had 3 days of work today (Agency)
I do think that over the last month, I have spent about £450, when I thought I could do it on £150. but at least I know what's happening, and to budget for everything.
On the 24th I will be paid. On that day I will post my monthly budget and my SOA
:A
Oh the in-laws have been good too. FIL has offered to take hubby out for a drink tonight, so that will cheer him up.
We have been invited for Pizza at SIL tomorrow. (I will give a small donation towards it)
And next week I have the big do, that I mentioned before. I have just been told that someone else will foot most of the bill, so it will only cost me about £50 (not £300 or the reduced £150 budget)
I am very happy!
Thanks Everyone.

If you have an ING account you can have up to 10 seperate accounts. But the all accounts count towards each other for interest if that makes sense. So you have one main account and then create others off of it.
That way you can move it over to account named Car, Dental etc.

If you do opt for ING for savings, have a look at the referrers board, as they're giving away £10 to the referrer and £10 to the person who opens an account. Worth having!
ING's interest rate is currently 4.5%, whereas Sainsburys Internet Saver is 4.75% and again, you can have lots of accounts off it.Back on the DFW Wagon:
CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/180 -
I had no idea about ING and the accounts.
I have long standing accounts with HSBC, and short term ones with First Direct.
I stay with HSBC as I think it counts towards my credit rating, for mortgage etc.
I will have a look into the accounts and discuss it with Hubby on Sunday
Thanks
