  • Hmmm.

Ok, I've just phoned vodafone and apparently my contract was due for renewal *last* July so I am free to cancel now if I wish...

That's a pretty good deal though, especially the Flext 35, works out as 900 minutes and a 100 texts per month for £26.25 plus if you can keep track of exactly how many minutes you are using you'll never go over!
    :o
  • Just spoken to vodafone again, they wouldn't give me the free N70 like T-mobile will and the lowest they would go was £37 a month for 350 minutes / 100 texts which compares to the flext 35 is rubbish!

I've requested my PAC code and they are posting it through to me in a few days.

    That's terrible.
  • You're not wrong!

I've sent the cancellation letter off just.

They told me that the PAC code is valid for 30 days, what happens to my vodafone account when I ask T-mobile to transfer the number over given that my vodafone account will still be active for at least some of the time?

    It's not 900mins + 100 texts - either 900mins or 850mins + 100 texts. Consider it as 1800 credits at 1 per text & 2 per minute. Excellent tarrif!
Certain OTT members have caused me to add this disclaimer: all advice given is free of charge & as such should be taken to be IIRC (as I don't spend hours researching all answers  )!

Does anyone know if i would be able to get the relatively new Sony Ericsson W810i on T-Mobile thru a shop or similar? Their website doesnt seem to list the phone at all and would really like it on this tariff (inc the 25% discount)

I know the flext tariff is available through 3rd party vendors with the phone, but without 25% off

    Many Thanks

    Ed

Is the Nokia 6280 any good? I'm considering that or the SE W810i?

    Hi Ed,

They do have the W810I, but it's currently £30 on the flext 35 (I got it last week!)
