Problems with package from us

I brought an expensive item from the us on ebay. I have got the tracking number and it says that they tried to deliver it saturday morning but they didnt. I was at home that day and time and there definately was no attempted delivery, and if they did they didnt leave a card.

What should i do now? I've tried to email them on there site but it wont let me without an american zip code
It doesnt say online whether they will redeliver or not and the seller is not replying to my email

Thanks in advance for any help xx

How long ago did you email the seller? Are you taking into account their time zone?

I had the same problem with a courier from an item I had brought from Tesco books. I waited a week after they said they had dispatched it next day and on the couriers website it had said they had attempted two deliveries on days and times when I had been home. Eventually it turned up about an hour after chasing it up with Tesco. So anyway you may well find the courier is not able/willing to deliver it and so making it up. Especially if the courier doesn't have any other deliveries in your area at the moment.

Probably a lazy courier who ran out of time so just put in the system that they attempted delivery.

If you can get the courier details, then you can try tracing the parcel that way.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

More than likely it's a lazy courier :( If they're running late etc they'll mark a few hard to get to ones as "attempted delivery" and skip them or leave them to the next driver to deal with. I'd phone the courier company (there must be a number somewhere for them?)

As you have a tracking number you know who the carrier is you should just ring their local depot (or local sorting office if sent by us post), quote the traking number and ask them where the parcel is?

Good point if it is an expensive item it may be held up at customs and may be liable to a charge
