Rain... it's nice and sunny here - up north... Spent two hours in gym this morning :j and a couple of hours in garden trimming bushes, mowing lawn and general tidying up. I've got my washing in conservatory to dry as its v.warm in there and got beef in oven for sunday lunch! Just need to get motivated to do the huge pile of ironing...maybe tomorrow.0

Blimey newmoneysaver I'd probably die if I spent 2 hours in the gym, unless having a drink in the cafe counts!
I've not really done anything today, have got headache after our dinner party last night, although god knows how as I only had 2 glasses of wine and I didn't even finish the second one, think I am allergic to rose wine, maybe it's the chemicals! Have stayed in and watched a DVD as there's nowt on tv, and done some paintings for work. that's it really, not very exciting!

yep dont know what you lot are complaining about - its luvvely up here

Ive got my potatoes planted and my tomatoes are on my window ledge. I have also planted a few runner beans so my kitchen window ledge is well and truly covered. I was potting up outside and carefully covering everything in cling film untill they grow. I put a few pots into a tray and was carefully walking inside to put them on the window ledge and I tripped over and sent the lot including myself flying. Why am I always so accident prone
We have eaten yesterdays HM soup and will be having left overs from yesterdays corned beef hash for tea - so I didnt have to cook today but I have made some shortbread as we are out of biccies....I think we may be out of biccies again very soon at the rate Im eating these though

Hi all, thought I would join in too. Today I have done quite a bit of cleaning, ironing that needed to be done. Had a clearout of paperwork around my computer, can see the mouse and keyboard now :rotfl:
Made lovely bread out of the breadmaker someone gave me on freecycle. Delicious
Had chicken drumsticks for dinner, bought in the reduced section at Asda yesterday. Now time to get the kids into the bath.
Must have a car boot sale, but keep putting it off. Hate having to get up so early on days off work.

Well we've taken our car to the boyfriends parents to wash it today (we can't do it at ours coz we live in a first floor flat) so I guess that that is a bit of money saving as it would have been much easier to take it to the car wash! Had a nice cooked breakfast at home today (at around lunch time!) so might treat ourselves and get a curry tonight, I've cleaned the kitchen and oven ( ) today which is a bit of a rare thing!
Now the boyfriend is running us a nice bath, although not as economic as a shower at least its a nice big bath so we can get in at the same time! So thats moneysaving!0 -
Peppa, did your hubby have any of the bread??
I finally ATE THE BEANSPROUTS!! And they were yum. Might start some more off now so we can incorporate into thursdays dinner...I might have to so daily I can report in this thread "rinsed my beansprouts" LOL
Might have a glass of the wine from the freecycler in a bit... why not eh? ITs german so not 100% to my taste, but im sure it will be lovely as its free! Always taste better dont they! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
I went 0ut for dinner, which was paid for by my gran...bless her 81 she is!! That was me and the 2 kids at 12.95 a head for 3 courses then went and had tea at her house so saved on cake and tea bags etc.
