What have you done today that's DFW Stylee - Sunday 23rd

Thought I'd get this one in early today as I think it helps others to think about what they can do to have a DFW style day!

I have got up determined to clean my house properly. We have boxes of stuff lying around (mainly work paperwork for me) and it's getting me down so I'm clearing it away.

I've got ironing to do ... washing (but it's a bit grey and I am not using the tumble) ... will make a home cooked meal for lunch and sort all the kids stuff out for going back to school tomorrow.

Won't be on here too much as I'm planning to be so busy ... how can I resist!!........ but may have to catch up in my coffee breaks! ADDICT!

Love to you all and hope you have agreat DFW day.

I'm stuck in a hotel room in Baltimore in the pouring rain - work trip. All on my own and bored with jet lag - it's 6.30 am here!! No chance to go out and spend money as I'm in the middle of nowhere without a car.
Oh - the glamour of it all! Everyone thinks I have a fab time - travelling all over the world (with work) and that I must be loaded (certainly not!) - they don't see this part of it, lonely, bored and tired! Just 3 more days to go. Having a fat day too - will get a grip and cheer up now I'm online!
    Thanks for keeping me company

Mmmm - snickers muffins sound lush, lynzpower.

Unfortunately did not do our car boot today - got up ready at 5.30am, and it was raining, so went back to bed! Perhaps next week will be better, and also give me some more time to declutter some more.

Today, I think I will clean and also do a little bit of fruit and veg shopping for the week. Also will look at getting a birthday present for my friend in time for next month, so I don't have to rush at the time and spend more than I intend!

    Have a good day everyone!

I've stopped in all morning and not spent anything... and now I'm just finishing off some correspondence to Barclays about refunding my bank charges.

Not feeling too well, so don't think I will be going out today.

Maybe do some washing, forced to use TD as weather grotty here in Sussex and maybe have a bit of a spring clean in my bedroom - maybe not though as I think all that dust and grim will only aggreviate my cough/ wheezing!!!! Any excuse to stay welded to the sofa

Also chasing Egg for the £10 they offered when you download and use their Money Manager. Well I did and they haven't delivered... so I'm chasing!

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

: Snickers muffins are complete. I used a US recipe, so it made double the amount we can eat, so will take some into work tomorrow, meaning I dont have to buy my biscuits for the team scoffing contribuition :D

Just tidying out some cupboards etc, found some tapes to add to the car boot corner ( encroaching heavily on the living space at the mo!!)

Oooh and for giving away some old bookcase & tv stand to a freecycler they insisted on giving me a bottle of wine  Cheers!!

Im planning to count my penny jar in a bit ( exciting eh?!) I can then pay them in tomorrow.

I have also got some money off coupons which I need to find out and take to asda with me later on, need to stock up on a few things for the week, but don't intend to spend much. Also going to keep an eye out for any of those nice yellow stickers!
