Good luck with the smoking lottie, actually, that's nonsense, you don't need luck at all, you need to be really clear with yourself over why you're doing it and a shed load of determination. I quit a few weeks back and honestly the only thing stopping me smoking again is that I never want to go through the quit again.

This is a really good blog type thing and it helped me loads. Getting the silkquit meter helped too, I still look at my stats every day... so far I've saved over £200. I'm using the extra money to fund a cleaner, this is another reason why I won't smoke again, I don't want to give my cleaner up

I've not got much on today. Loads of odds and ends of things to do really.

I'm taking Amber over to the respite centre today for her to have a look at. Then we'll arrange for me to take her over for tea one day so she gets used to the people and the place. I hope she likes it.

Yeah if things go to plan bookie, I'm not sure if she's going to get her head around staying somewhere without her family, so we'll see. She has been given 24 overnights a year, so 2 a month. Quite a few other kids from the school go there, and when I told her where we were going she kept saying 'no singing' 'christmas carols' so I think she must have been there over christmas time with the school.

Oh god I just can't do this today. I tried talking to them and instead all they do is make me cry. Why don't they understand that I'm TRYING, I can't afford all they want and now they're badgering me again.

Hi Elfen, don't let them grind you down, do not deal with these idiots by telephone, they can't have what you don't have, end of!

Make sure you are sorting out the priority debts so you can live and keep a roof over your head, the rest can go whistle!

Change your number elf, it was the only thing that worked for me. I told all of the creditors to deal in writing only but they still phoned many times a day. With no phone number they had no choice but to write.

Once your number has changed, make sure you are ex directory and sign up to the telephone preferences service too.
