105 days!
news from me-
now up to 5 rsvps had lovely messages on them

decided what to do for my hen do-
going to have a night out with just me and my cbm in a club
and a week before the wedding going to a bryan adams/bon jovi night- which is the show and a meal £20 so that good

next is a make up trial- going to try the airbrush make up-going to make an appt tomorrow for that

we are going to the venue 2 weeks on tuesday to talk to the wedding coordinator.

took my dress to the cleaners this week- so need to contact the alterations lady to arrange a fitting in the next couple of weeks.

going to contact my photograher soon and arrange boundair shoot!

Having a headache with one of my bms dress- i got it from the famour birmingham lady on ebay- a size 12- but she has put weight on and is now a 14- and will stay like that as she is happy with that and she is getting married in october- and she has ordered her wedding dress size 14 so she doesn't want to lose weight. so i know the dress i got her wont fit- so i need to contact the bimingham lady and see if i can send it back and her do a 14 for me. a pain!!!

Not doing too badly with our RSVPs, 26 out of 78 back for the day with another 6 coming that haven't officially confirmed. Evening invites are coming in slower 4 out of 43.

Tomorrow it is 3 months to go...or 13 weeks...or 92 days

I am going away with work for 8 days tomorrow so OH can have fun opening the RSVPs but I am taking my laptop so hopefully he can let me know what comes back and I can put it into my OCD spreadsheet!

haha i have an ocd spreadsheet too!
on the invites bit- i have- sent invite? -confirmed they have recieved invite?- rsvp recieved?, coming to wedding? not coming to wedding?

with all little ticks- very particular haha!

I had invite written - invite sent - rsvp received - a yes or no in a separate column if it is only verbal - confirmed non attendances are then put into italics. On page 2 of the spreadsheet I have a list of those coming to the day or evening on separate lists and page 3 those not coming at all.

This is the only time that OH isn't taking the mic too much on my list making. In fact when he sees me with a pen and paper it is more "ooh, what list are you making?" than "not lists again!"

Dress looks lovely AJmoney Take it that its easy to dye these things? I am a wimp with things like that and wouldn't know what to do...

Jellie, I am still on with making my invites. Have got the insert things printed now, just got lots of gluing, sticking and general blue petery to do this weekend. Am hoping to get them sent next week. Most people already have been verbally invited, so am sure it will all be ok.

I booked the DJ finally today. Managed to get hold of someone I used to know, so am pleased about that.

Hen party is all coming together nicely. Sent off a deposit for the bunk barn today. Got 12 definates I think, and a few more people still thinking about it. Its ever so exciting tho :j

Think everything is going smoothly or now. Don't seem to have anything to worry or stress about which is ace.

OH has been measured for his suit and looks very handsome

Nor do I, my mum has always done dress-making stuff so may know or we have a close friend who is a dressmaker. If my sister likes the dress my plan is to ask them if it is possible and probably ask them if they will do it for me! It is machine washable so a machine dye may work.

My sister's BM dress is based on this http://www.coast-stores.com/lilium%20bubble%20dress/all/Coast/fcp-product/2224681606 so the two should compliment each other nicely. Why do I keep finding nice BM dresses in white :mad: my sister's is being designed and made because we can't get it in pale pink

Just had a call to say my dress has arrived at the bridal shop along with my head piece, next Sunday I get to try it on! Can't wait, until that call I was convinced it wouldn't be here on time!

hi all

bridesmaids came over last night- defo going to need to sned one of them back- so have emailed the women this morning so hopefully she will be able to swap it. on a good point- they loved the dresses they both will need taking up at the bottom but that should be cheap enough.

ordered some hen night invites at the weekend- was only £6 from ebay for 15- so that good. really looking forward to my hen do now

101 days!! cant believe i will be in double figures soon!

still to do:
book makeup trial
contact florist
contact photographer about boundair shoot!!
buy 1 usher and father of the bride gift
buy more sweets for sweetie table
buy jars for sweets for sweetie table
hair trial
Pick up dress from dry cleaners and go to dress fitters (hopefully next week)

double figures!- 99 days to go!!

dress is ready to pick up from dry cleaners- got dress fitting on tuesday- so leaving my dress in cleaners until the fitting
have contacted the woman who made the bms dresses- and i need to send the size 12 back and shes sending me a size 14- she said it may take a while though

ebay seller sent me the proof of the hen do invites last night- they looked good, so she is posting in the next couple of days.
