  • I had a Magic Bullet and I loved it. Made smoothies, soups, sauces etc. Then it died. It was a xmas present, or birthday-cant remember. Went and bought a replacement one but it wasnt THE magic bullet but did have all the same bits and pieces and did the same job. Then that died. Now I'm just using my Kenwood smoothie maker I got in the sale. One thing I hated about the bullet is most of the stuff it came with I never used and was dumped in a cupboard taking up too much room
  • Where is the cheapest price to buy the full set at the moment?

I think I've probably used mine twice in the couple of years I've had it - total waste of money. (I'm not saying it doesn't work, just that it's totally unnecessary).

I dont have anything in the way of a blender etc and our kitchen is quite small and I only have 3 cupboards so I have a need for something like this and by what I have seen on the TV would use it all the time.

    Thanks :)

Somebody game me one and I have been using it with no problems for two years.

It does say in the instructions not to use it for more than 1 minute at a time or you may burn the motor out. Not sure if that is what caused the problems above.

I would not say it is worth the money though (if I had paid). I don't use the juicing attachment and basically use it as a jug blender. I still have a sperate stick blender for soup.

I had better point out that the attachments take quite a bit of cupboard space as you get quite a few cups with it.

i love my bullet (which incidentally is a copy one i bought for £20 new at a boot sale) . i use it for loads of things grinding coffee, smoothies, frappucinos, blending soups etc etc. i ave never used the juicer part tho

as bonge said u have to use it in short bursts or it will burn out. i have had mine approx 5 yrs and its definitely on its last legs, i want to get another one but refuse to pay £50-60 that they are asking for them on TV, am hoping to see another one at a boot sale soon lol

  • I cant find any cheap ones online, we dont have any shop outlets in our area and cant find any 'imitations' either. I am not happy to buy one from the shopping channels but looks like I may have to take on the 3 installments of £20 as I am in need.

I know I would use it all and possibly every day as I dont have anything else in the way of blender etc in our kitchen.

    Thanks :)

Just bought a Kenwood Minichopper and it's great. It chops everything and it's only tiny. It was about £18 in Tesco. They also have them at Amazon for about £18. I'm not sure if it's what you want - it tends to chop very tiny rather than liquidise, although, saything that, it may liquidise if you chop long enough!
