Hi Mrs Tine.
Could you tell me exactly how the refund thing would work? Buyer has now put funds in and updated card details, so if I refund now, will it then automatically put it through again?DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
Has anyone mentioned the fact that the buyer may have chosen to use an E-cheque?
Maybe they know they haven't got the funds atm (waiting for payday maybe?) and have wanted to pay but to delay the actual money leaving for a few days.2 angels in heaven :A0 -

If you go to the transaction on paypal and refund - then you can request payment and the buyer pays again, this time from cleared funds which should go through immediately

Were do you request payment again, on ebay? Sorry for silly questions, but things have always been very straight forward on ebay before...DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0

Or they simply don't want an organisation to keep their CC details for no apparent reason.0 -

Yes
Or they could just send you the payment to your email address but easiest would be to re-request the payment through E-bay

I sold 6 iems to buyer who paid by 3 e-cheques in the last 2 weeks, 1 has bounced, 2 cancelled and the buyer is new to eBay. I've contacted her twice to let her know, but so far I've had no response...looks like Im going to lose £60 worth of sales :-(0

Please urgent again.
Sold festival ticket that really need to be sent latest tomorrow.
Again, got confirmation of Pending eCheque Instant Purchase payment, but completion date is 27th, way too late, tickets needed for this weekend.
On paypal it says eCheques are one type of bank payment and usually take 7-9 working days* to process. They are useful when buyers have not linked a backup payment source (like a debit or credit card) to their PayPal accounts, or when a transaction is too risky to allow an instant payment.
When is transaction too risky?? I need the money, they need the tickets, but I'm not parting them without money in my account. Have spoke to buyer, 0 feedback as says used to use ex-gf's account, said he had a card linked so why no funds on paypal account? He'll try to sort it out today, so shall I just cancel the echeque and wait and see what he comes up with? What are my other options?DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
You need to contact the seller. He can add a Credit or debit card to the paypal account. When he goes to pay he clicks on the other funding oprtions and you can add a card and pay directly ussing that card. So just cancel the transaction and get them to sort it0
