Its not what you would class as a special Car but it is a very nice Car. Its got the same Engine as the Golf GTI and is a lot cheaper. Its basically a MSE way of buying a brand new Golf GTI.
Also I don't think the Golf GTI is available in yellow.
Those Germans are so conservative....not like our Spanish friends....
The Skoda vRS also has the same engine as the Golf GTI and is available even cheaper than the SEAT and comes with 2 years 0% finance. Proper MSE. No idea if you can get it in Yellow, those Czechs can be a bit wacky at times but a yellow Skoda might be a step too far."We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein0 -
Damn it. I just read this entire thread knowing it was 2 years old but hoping that at the end I would find out if they actually bought a ridiculous yellow Leon FR and if the technology pack actually improved their lives to any degree, only to find the thread had simply been bumped by spam.
There's 20 minutes of my life I'll not get back.

I wouldn't worry, it's probably been repoed by now, they op was a complete tool by the looks of it."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0 -
Whilst I realise that this thread is some 2 years old I have just read it and I felt it was such a shame.
Everyone was so busy slagging the OP off for what they think they can afford the really important parts of the story were picked up by only a few posters and lost in the noise.
Provided you can comfortably afford it, there is nothing inherently wrong with 'debt'. The problem with this story was not that they wanted to borrow £11k to buy a £20k car - infact actually a near 50% deposit on a car is a pretty sensible way to go about borrowing to buy, far lower risk of negative equity and thus an easy exit route should circumstances change.
The problem was that:
a) It was a new Seat, which will depreciate like a brick in a pond.
b) The quote being offered by Seat was - at 10% flat - bordering on extortionate.
But no, far better to lambast the OP for daring to wish to spend a whole 200 quid a month (What he should have been paying had the quote been competitive) on a car.
A shame. This is a fantastic forum with a wealth of knowledge but the tendancy to launch into attack mode the second somebody mentions a loan is a shame. I appreciate some of you have been burnt in the past and are now very risk averse as a result but the answer to that is be sensible with borrowings not borrow nothing at all ever.0
