Bookie, there's jobs about for trainee dispensers, it's two years training but not bad money after you qualify.

pooky - the margin is something I mentioned, but it was still 'no, I'd have liked to have put the money in'. I agree about the amount of time though - I'd be up until all hours making fresh items the days before market!

Oh Yeah Bookie...that is pants isn't it. You know what the whole system is totally stupid and unfare TBH. I mean yes we have a dependant but if we didn't there is no way we would be able to survive on the benefits. As it is we are actually ok on benfits which has totally thrown new light onto the understanding of why there are so many people living on benefits who don't really want to go back to work!

Its silly that the system is skewed against the people who in the long run pay the most in - I think vulnerable people should get extra help but if I lost my job I'd be homeless in two months (time it takes to get a section 8) and wouldnt qualify for any council housing as I choose not to have children...

It's made me quite angry - I've paid into the system for over 30 years and I get nothing. I can get mortgage support after 26 weeks - it's like a loyalty bonus. I need it now and couls accept it getting less over time. By the time I get it I will have lost the house!

Still it's no good ranting - we have to get on with it. I keep being told that God will provide. Hopefully soon! :rotfl:

I thought that mortgage help had been reduced to 13 weeks.

I know and it sucks. Where there are those who have 6 children (sorry if this is generalising) never worked a day in their lives and get 10's of thousands of pounds in benefits and have no intension of getting a job
