"From" being at high speed of course... ;)

she hasn't lived there for about thirty years, still says "cannut" and when she goes back they think she has a scottish accent:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. It's a nice accent but definitely not scottish:D.

Ames, now you've made me feel old - I don't think they'd invented paintballing when I was at school:o:D. actually I'm not that sure it was a great invention anyway...

We went to the local Brickyard pond for one of our school trips once.....obviously a very lean year for the school that one:rolleyes:

My OH is from lancashire he now has a funny mixture of Wigan and North East accent.

I dont say cannut:rolleyes:.......that would be such bad English:D
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    Morning.......

I have a very sore ankle today, kept me awake half the night and I can barely put any weight on it. I have rubbed in ibuprofen gel and am going to try to keep off it as much as I can today.

Really going to miss my walk tonight though:mad:

Good news on the music lesson bill as the music school is closed for the next 2 weeks so there last paid lesson will be 3 weeks time, will have to pay the week after that so I have 4 weeks to get together the £240 payment:eek: that is for 11 weeks for both boys which works out at £12 a lesson and the get the 11th free saving of £24. Still blummin expensive though but it will be worth it as they are both doing really well and the youngest actually wants a career in drumming.

    List for today
    • Send cheque to Thomas Cook to clear account
    • Look for the Vrgin deal that Buffy mentioned last night
    • flylady for the day
    • clear out and bin any rubbish from the storage shelves in the office to create some space and eliminate risk of death each time someone passes.
    • rest my ankle a bit:rotfl:

Well the day went a bit off plan as neighbours came round to help clear the garden then we had a cuppa and a chin wag so no flyladying so far but I have a lovely clear garden now:D

Signed up for a Matched Bet offer which should get me around £40 after losses.

Did a pensions forecast for OH and have registered for mine so we have some rough idea of the type of money we will receive from the government (if it doesnt drastically change which it probably will)

Off to eat dinner and maybe flylady later.
