Right, have done an online payment of £75 to HSBC and have £60 from the piggy in my bag to pay off Halifax

I would like to totally clear the £203 on the Thomas Cook CC this month as the 3 months interest free period is up, the bill has just arrived in the post so I am writing out a cheque for the full £203.......

That leaves me with the HSBC, Halifax and loan from Mum to clear.........and the additional money on the Mortgage:o

I forgot to mention that my standard DD includes an overpayment on the main mortgage account of £157 due to the drop in interest rate, I intend to keep this as it is for now.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    I love my Granda:smileyhea

He gave me £40 when I went to visit today, he just likes to treat me sometimes as he says at 85 he doesnt need anything and he cant take it with him...........except he talks broad North East pitmatic so it came out like......"Nooorrrr I dinnat need owt at ma age man, gan on, yea ave it, I cannut tak it with us":D

Paid the Halifax £60 from the piggy bank money which now has another £40 in it:T

Just had a scary thought though, I am not sure when the next payment is due for the boys drum lessons I havent got anything put by for that this month, see how I get myself into these messes:o

Hope that it isnt for another few weeks until next pay day.

I remember going on a school trip to the Metro centre, it was hours before I realised that it wasn't full of foreigners, it's just how they talk up there!

Well the mobiles are for both boys contracts each £15 and £20 respectively, I am happy to pay this so I know they are safe when they are out and I can contact them:o

I don't know what they've been telling you, but if they run out of credit, you can still phone them...

It will keep them in good stead for when they have to pay their own way - minutes can be budgeted too...

In my day, school trips didn't go to shopping centres...

We had two days at the end of the year to do fun stuff, I wanted to go paintballing but that one was full so went to the shopping centre. They stopped doing it the year I left. I don't think I'm much (if any) younger than you?
