he has a building society account but none of the details for the account match up to what they need to know:mad:

Can the building society account be transferred to a current account with the same branch:confused:
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Well the £50 from the Halifax didnt last long..........

DS needed school shoes and some trainers (you could see his sock through the hole in the sole:o) came to £42

He is a mens size 9 now and at age 14 has bigger feet than OH:eek:

New Fridge is still looking at me in the box and the old fridge is still full of food, OH has gone to see U2 in Sheffield so I think its up to the boys to sort it out........they are quite looking forward to it apparantly, saddos or what!:rotfl:

Off to Slimming Group in a bit but first I need a bit of a rest.

    Today will be interesting...............NOT

DS1 and I are doing a trial bus run for when he starts 6th form in Sept, its not going to be easy as its 3 buses going and 2 coming back and neither of us has travelled on a bus for as long as my memory goes back.

I have spent almost 2 hours on the traveline site and feel no further forward as I havent a clue where "Richardsons Club" bus stop is or "Clavering road ends" .......

Wish us luck as we may not be back before nightfall:rotfl:

We are back and the journey was quite painless, bus company are a bit rubbish as the bus he needs wont come via our village on the journey there but comes directly back through our village..........apparantly buses cant cross dual carrageways.

    So.......

£5.50 return + £2 return up to the college which DS said he will only do if its torrential rain as it is only a 10-15 min walk.

That is at least £27.50 a week plus the odd £2 on very bad days:eek:

He gets £14 per week from the school to help with fares and I am going to buy a term pass for £87 which gives unlimited travel in our area including evenings and weekends.......still blummin expensive though:o

Thankfully he doesnt need anything clothing wise as he says his winter coat is still fine from last year.

He has also decided to look for a Sat job in the town but at 16 its going to be tough to get one I think.

Tell me about it!! The town is only 6 miles away too, cant believe its £5.50 return but thats the cost of buses here.

I have spent nearly £15 doing the trial run with him.

Oh Asda have lowered there employment age to 16, there are 2 quite close by so maybe he could try there in the run up to Christmas.
