    I really dont like the idea of him riding a moped, they are so dangerous and offer little protection and there are some right bumholes on the roads.

    God knows if he wants a car when he passes his test but as he is only just 16 that wont be for a while anyway.
    But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    Ironically my Mum and Dad are ex-bikers...and I'm not.

    Thinking about getting the license though...

    OH always had motorbikes until he turned into a sensible family man;)

    Too many accidents on the road Zed, bikers usually come off the worse and all the people that I know who have had bikes have had accidents including my Dad who is an extremely good driver.

    Its not the biker its the idiot who doesnt see them.

    Saying that we have an old fella lives in our village who uses one of those mobility motor scooters up and down the A19 in all weathers, I often worry about him running his batteries down and getting stuck between Wingate and Shotton............now THAT would be scary:eek::rotfl:
