Lovely to see you Beanie, I hope you had a lovely time on your hols.
I adore France and really miss not going for a few years.
My DS had the option to stay on at his school but he wanted to go to another one that offered a better mix of A levels for him.But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Oh right got you Lou.
So your DS does his A levels in 6th year whereas here they do highers in 5th year.
France was fab.(Thanks Mum)

Strange how there is such a big difference isnt there.
GCSE results out next week, fingers crossed that he gets the grades he wants. But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
aye lets hope he did better than mine upstair:mad:
Oh were they bad:(
I say that no matter what the grades are they can always catch up at college. Alot of emphasis is put on results but really sucess is all about attitude in the person when they start their career.
Grades just make the School look good:rolleyes:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
That's a brilliant attitude Lou, I fell for the school's line of exam and grade success is the be all and end all and ended up mentally ill and with ME, which has affected my life a hell of a lot more than a few lower grades would have done! I hate parents who push that attitude as well, yours is much healthier.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
