Could you maybe substitute for cut the grass or some DIY job you've been putting off? I'm gonna substitute the baking for the 'something you like' bit :D ie: making the tea, I don't like making that either but there's no way I will bake.
I honestly have nothing to substitute....normally I would, but there is nothing left, so that is why I asked. As for garden/DIY DH does all that really, and he is still on holiday from work just now.
Theoretically I could substitute making lunch and dinner in there, but then I do that everyday anyway so it never really makes it on to a list. Perhaps the washing ?
    Thanks for the reply though.
To top things off I can now hardly move as back is seizing up, probably the driving home from hols/change of beds etc, so will be taking the lists slowly anyway.:confused:

Maybe you could make something for dinner which is baked in the oven - such as a stew or a quiche? Or cook something for dinner that you REALLY like and that you haven't had for a while? This is what I'll do I think

Rach - That sounds awful. I think next time it happens, if you are concerned for the lady's wellbeing I would report it. Even if you cant tellfor certain he is physically beating her or not, the screaming indicates fear so I would say it was worth reporting as domestic violence.

Jinky67 - That mad decluttering challenge sounds fun. It got me all motivated as I sit here with a cuppa (!) but I really should cover the basics in the house before I start on that! Sounds tons more fun than washing my windows tho ;)

I cleaned the inside of my oven out with stardrops last night - fabulous! DH says, and I quote, "It looks like a new one." :j Just finished cuppa so about to have a HHC in the living room while the girls seem happy. Also need to whip up some Cheddar and Pesto Muffins for today's lunch and tomorrow's breakfast as no butter left for toast/sandwiches and not enough milk left for cereal!
