    Morning All

I've been up for a few hours but I've been lazing in the bath and generally mooching. It's chucking it down here and I've got washing to dry so that figures.

However, I suppose I ought to think about doing something. I need to go up the loft and get my steam generator iron down - I've only used it once and didn't like it much so it's been sitting up there - DH broke the iron on Sunday though so I'll give it another go before I go out and buy another iron.

    Anyone fancy a HHC 9.15 - 9.45?

Note to self don't forget to go to fetch some tips full ones !! Sounding more like Valli everyday just wish i could clean like her xx

Don't forget you have a littley - I ignore my teenies half the time!
TBH I would save Magna for a nice day and spend a lot of it outside in the playground which is (a) brilliant and (b) free - well it was the last time we went! And also don't forget the chores you like are easily done - and being of unsound mind I like ironing. My dish drainer ALMOST ALWAYS has dishes draining in it because I don'tlike drying and putting away. And I really do think that being the only adult helps...I'm not clearing up after a 'big kid' IYSWIM - and I have MAJORLY decluttered.
On Monday I accidentally broke a little glass angel (halo fell off -someone trying to tell me something) when I did the DR...it went into the bin straight away with yours truly thinking - ooo one less thing to dust!
I'm on catch up today then!

    Morning lovelies!

Home alone all day today so can get stuck in, did the master bedroom on Sunday but there's still a few things that haven't been done so can't claim a star yet.

Wiggly Wednesday ~ Master Bedroom and landing

    Level Three
    Wipe the doors and paintwork
    sort out junk on landing
    hoover landing

After I've done that I think I'll head into littleys room  I'm feeling brave.

Actually I think I might text DD1 to see if she's off work today, She spends most of her time at her b/f's so I've hardly seen her....we may go out (on the bus  ) in which case littleys room wont get done.

Good Morning everyone greenbee thats so funny why not catch and release. We had one the other day on the sunlounger it was huge must have been about 5 inches it was sat about 2 inch from my head. When it walked i could feel the vibration on the lounger. He just looked at me then disappeared off the edge. Even the cat didn't try to play with this one she just sat and watched it walk off.

You've got to be joking... if it had been on the floor it would have had a telephone directory on it (well there has to be some use for them!). No way could I catch it, and if I released it, it would just come back in! I'm obviously going to have to spend my gardening leave mucking out upstairs properly to make sure nothing is hiding...
I can't remember who was looking but I am travelling down the A1 from Lincolnshire to the M25 very early on Sunday morning - if you are looking for collection delivery of something!!!:D

I was trying to work out whether I could make Kaz's wedding cake and deliver it to Stansted for crack of dawn on the 23rd... but that's going the opposite way! Thanks for thinking of it anyway.

I've been to the gym, am nearly finished breakfast, and have a whole day stretching ahead of me... :D

We have sunshine but I don't think it's going to last. I have a meeting in the park at 11am so it's bound to be raining by then! I also need to get some provisions. Used the last tin of dog food last night.

Poor BB what will she do for breakfast.

I imagine you all huddled in the bandstand.

I've put a wash on the line and reloaded WM.
    Kitchen almost tidied.
Floors next, after breakfast and then to the shower.

I am showered and dressed but not really presentable but hey ho thats how I am staying!!! Going to try and do a bit more cooking/baking but first need to go and give kitchen a quick tidy (can anyone bake and keep the kitchen clean smiley-confused004.gif or is that just me who trashes the place smiley-ashamed001.gif) and have a cuppa before starting with the lists

So far I have put the bedlinen in the wash, decluttered DS1 to music course - and sat on here, clearing out all my emails - now in single figures from nearly 400!!

I think I'll do the washing up, and then some time on the allotment.

dusty - how's the packing going? I've told all the family that anything they want washed to take with them must be in the laundry bag today or it won't get done! I have managed to buy shower gel and shampoo, which were on my list, but failed to get a couple more pairs of linen trousers in Primark yesterday - they've completely sold out. I may nip into Debenhams while getting the euros this afternoon. I also need to add my brother's new address to my little notebook I take on holiday, so I can send him and SIL a postcard. I'm trying to work out just how much food I need to take with us - we arrive quite early Saturday afternoon, and should be going through a medium size town on the way, so could just stop and get what we need for Sunday and Monday morning???

My parent's 59th wedding anniversary today. I sent a card and some flowers, so I hope they arrive as promised. They have been together since they were sixteen, and married at 21 - so 64 years. Wow. I'm not going to manage that!

    Okay, really must scoot.

Read that thinking sounds interesting and I have some kiwi fruit ....:rolleyes::o

House is looking great, I cleared all the rooms bar my office (which now has lots of boxes in it but I am at the desk now so is still usable) and whilst I was out at work all day yesterday, OH (:D) did all the cleaning so we are ready for the arrival of his Mum this afternoon. Unfortunately I doubt there will be any stars as a few questions like did you do the kickboards & wipe the lightswitches got a no but as I appreciate all he has done I'm not bothered. He has gone to do a food shop now so I'll do a bit of paintwork/switch wiping whilst he can't see as don't want to discourage him.

Dusty - I won a Mars cricket ball but my BIL wasn't keen on it for my nephews so would any of your sons like it?
Don't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli
