Are you allowed to take it with you? If so, i now have time on my hands...:D

I rang the airport as I couldnt get through to Easyjet . Lovely chap told me you can take them as hand luggage provided you tell customs what it is.

I had visions of them at the gate trying to make me try and fit it in to their hand luggage measuring thingys :rotfl:

Time on your hands eh ............ :D

I'm back in Norfolk for my mum's birthday this weekend.

When are you flying out? And where are you flying from?

Oh yes... and what do you want?

(I have special bags for transporting cakes that are definitely smaller than hand luggage size!)

We fly out from Stansted early hours of Sunday 23rd but I couldnt possibly ask you to make anything for us, you have the chance to take it easy for a while.

I should be in the OLD Rose and Crown this Sunday too (but not sure what state I'll be in as going out Sat night in Norwich )

I'll be bored by the middle of next week, so could easily make it for you, although I'm not so sure about how I'd get it to Stansted for the crack of dawn on a Sunday. Could we have a flylady delivery chain?

Hope you have a lovely weekend... remember, you've got all week to recover!

So much for the early night. Have spent the last 3/4 of an hour reclining on garden furniture with DS playing spot the shooting star (perseids meteor shower tonight).

It was quite nice actually. The evening is warm. The stars are out and we did spot a couple. I saw one spectacular one. Only problem is, I think some evil insect had a nibble at my foot whilst I was out there. It may end up as a Dusty ...

But, mother/son bonding achieved so I'm now off to bed to contemplate how to cope if DD moves back for a couple of weeks ~sigh~

Don't forget everyone there's a meteor shower that we may be able to see if the skies stay clear.

Trust me Triker, that image on the BBC website is a made up one - there's nothing like that going on outside tonight!
