welcome back to FFP - the place hasnt been the same without you angel - hope you are ok?

Thanks honey. I have missed you too. I have felt so out of touch (how sad is that!) How are you doing????? I have been thing of you.

    :mad:Rant alert:mad:

Been not too bad until last night when OH came back from pub and had a screaming fit. DS1 had forgot to let the bath water out and this turned out to be crime of the century. He then 'cleaned' out the boys room by throwing all the dishes downstairs from the top landing! Had to phone a freind to come over to get him to go to bed then spent the night in the boys room with the door locked. Need to find a way out of this situation but can't see one at the moment.
I need some help if possible - does anybody know a good website for buying ready made curtains?
I need curtains for the lounge and its going to cost an arm and 2 legs to get them made (funny size) and will take 4-6 weeks! I will be scouring ebay but just wondered if anybody had bought online.
    toots xx

I had the same problem getting curtains. My windows are a 117 drop 90 wide so no chance of ready mades. I had to buy material and ask someone to run them up for me. What you need is a flylady who is a bit handy with a sewing machine.

Blimey Funfairprincess, that sounds scary with your OH last night :(

I don't think I'll get much done today on the list as it's the hubby's day off but he's at an interview at the moment. I will try and make a start on the bedroom if the kids will give me some peace and play nicely in their bedroom ....... chance would be a fine thing.

But my two main rooms in the house are done and I think they still would have both been a tip had it not been for this thread and the people on it, so thank you!

FFP - that is awful, take care, I think you need to see someone to help you out of the situation sooner rather than later

Triker - hope you are taking it slowly today, babysteps

Greenbee - well done on gertting the chance to 'garden'

Toots & LL - thinking of you both

Managed to get most of the visible paintwork plus all door handles and light switches wiped before OH fgot back. He is now doing a chili for tonight so I'm keeping out the way so I don't comment and wind him up. Best do a bit of work work.
Don't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli

Thank you to all who post competitions & help the smooth running of the comps board
      • Morning everyone. Sorry not posted for ages but summer holidays have been hectic as usual. I am lucky if i have managed to keep up with dailies let alone much else. I have decided to empty the shed which has been desperate for some time as we need to clear it out for work storage. The problem is i have filled it to the brim :rolleyes:
So this holidays i have been trying to sort what to e bay what to charity shop what to bin and it's a major chore. The house has got stuff everywhere.
So i will get back on thread when hols are over and hopefully will have a lot less clutter.
On the plus side i have mopped all floors downstairs and lounge is tidy. My friend is coming for tea later and am looking forward to catching up. Hope everyone is well and will be back to catch up soon
