FFP - hugs love. I agree with what the others say. My second husband was an abusive bast*d. Leaving him was the best thing I did in my life.

Meeting done and we didn't get wet but we were there AGES. I think I've managed to convince the bigwig from the council that he can't put his buses THERE ^, they need to go over THERE ->. Time will tell - I now have to spend the afternoon drawing up plans of land showing who owns what for him....

My throat is sore from screaming like a fishwife at DS1 for swearing at DS3. I cannnot bear to hear children swearing especially if it is at another child and will not tolerate it.

    Ironing done
    Floors mopped
Wash 2 done but now both maidens are full
    lunch done

dusty - how's the packing going? I've told all the family that anything they want washed to take with them must be in the laundry bag today or it won't get done! I have managed to buy shower gel and shampoo, which were on my list, but failed to get a couple more pairs of linen trousers in Primark yesterday - they've completely sold out. I may nip into Debenhams while getting the euros this afternoon. I also need to add my brother's new address to my little notebook I take on holiday, so I can send him and SIL a postcard. I'm trying to work out just how much food I need to take with us - we arrive quite early Saturday afternoon, and should be going through a medium size town on the way, so could just stop and get what we need for Sunday and Monday morning???

Not great, I need to do a list, I hate packing. We are taking enough clothes for half the week and some washing powder. I'm taking enough food for the first night and the next day but hopefully will be able to get some milk and fresh bread. Kids have been told not to wear anything they want to take today.

Thanks honey. I have missed you too. I have felt so out of touch (how sad is that!) How are you doing????? I have been thing of you.

    :mad:Rant alert:mad:

Been not too bad until last night when OH came back from pub and had a screaming fit. DS1 had forgot to let the bath water out and this turned out to be crime of the century. He then 'cleaned' out the boys room by throwing all the dishes downstairs from the top landing! Had to phone a freind to come over to get him to go to bed then spent the night in the boys room with the door locked. Need to find a way out of this situation but can't see one at the moment.

need to go OH just turned up. I'll do my list in a mo.

Oh sweetie I am very worried about you. I have no experience to offer but know that you have to get out of this for you and your kids. So let us help you look at the options. Firstly you need a plan so that if something happens you can get you and those beautiful children out and safe at the drop of a hat so - where would you go? How would you get there?

Erm... not being funny, but don't the council employ people to do this for them? Surely they should have access to the information as to who owns what?!

Afternoon everyone! It was morning when I started catching up!

Congratulations to triker on the fact that you're feeling better, and it was all down to you. I hope it continues to last and that it's not costing you a small fortune in supplements.

Yay greenbee on your gardening leave.

Serena enjoy your holiday. When are you going? A small tip that my Mum has taught me for writing postcards on holiday, is instead of taking your whole address book (just in case it gets lost etc), take a sheet of stickers that have the addresses pre-written on them, and stick them on when you buy the postcards. It's lighter then too.

Spent a lovely afternoon out at the beach yesterday and exploring the town I'll be working in in September as I've only been there a handful of times. OH and I had a long walk along the beach and I even had a small paddle in the sea, but because it was so stony and such a steep shelve, it was a bit painful with bare feet. If we go again, I'm going to take my sea shoes. We're hoping to go at some point over the next week and a half, and take a picnic with us, as it only takes 10 minutes to get there. I did get a bit sunburnt again on my face (I know, I should've had suncream on, but I forgot again and I'm staying indoors today).

Off to quickly hang out the washing on the line with a hat on and then do some flying.

Hope everyone is ok - thinking of you LL and toots and FFP.

Belated happy birthdays to Bevan and MoZzy too.

Will post my lists when I've done something off them again.

    sexymouse xx
