oooh bit of advice for the future please my aforementioned 14 ds was in his room last night i went upstairs knocked on his door, went in and he was, ahem, well, doing what i suppose most teenage boys do at some point. we were both mortified and i can't even remeber what i went up for any suggestions for dealing with this in the future greatly appreciated because i'm sure it'll be something he'll be doing again:o:rolleyes:

well I crashed at about 9 after my earlier start, didn't quite feel right. Since I got back up I have hung a load of washing out, put another in, washed up, declutter DD's floor and dewebbed her room. Oh and cleaned the bathroom tiles.
Hugs to FFP and hi to Neveah's daughter!

This made me laugh, because my husband and I had this discussion last night. He states his mother never caught him, and that if I am worried about walking in on my son when he's a bit older (only a year or two to go, I fear) then I will have to learn to knock and wait for an invitation to go in. Without meaning to sound judgemental, maybe that's what you'll have to do from now on? I don't envy you, though.

Well got a bit more done although nowhere near as much as last HHC. Got the mountain of clean, dry washing put away. Got pillow cases out of TD and got sheets in, emptied 2nd DW load and got 4rd in and on (never normally do this much just CBA after all the cooking today)
Thats it really now to check how the lists is going

Much calmer in the Dusty house now.

Serena - let's play this game.

How do you know when you are avoiding doing the the packing? .....
You play cluedo at 14:00 with the kids

DS1 rarely shuts his door but if it is shut I would knock before going in there, just the same as I don't shut our bedroom door much but if I do I'd expect them to knock.
