    Hi

Don't know if its a possibility, but I'd get over to the MSE old style board, for cutting down shopping budgets etc. Hope it helps a bit,

  • You havn't lost you have just had a setback. I went through a stage a couple of years ago when I used to pray on a night god don't let me wake up tomorrow I don't want to do it anymore. i couldn't cope with no money and a sick partner to take care off. It was social services who push me to the edge with their constant refusal to help. They teat us like dirt because we needed adaptations and carers to come in that we couldn't afford. Banks operate in the same way they know that people are too desperate and downtroddern to fight.

I know how you feel and it's not nice. I have to walk over one of the London bridges to work, and many times in the dark days, I thought about just jumping off. It was only the thought of my 2 lovely daughters that stopped me. You just have to dig deep, arrange what you can with Payplan and enjoy the cheap or free things of life, such as the sun shining today. All the best, I wish I had found this board when I was in my darkest hour, it is such a support.

Thanks to everyone today who has offered advice and tried to cheer me up,although I have felt suicidal at times,I know I am not capable of doing anything silly,I have a great OH and wonderful kids I wouldn't do anything to hurt them.
We had a lovely day in the garden today planning a vegetable patch and sorting the mess,it hasn't been done since the fire,so looks heaps better now, this cheered me up and made me think things can only get better, will do more tomorrow if weather holds out so won't have time to dwell on debts.

Hi D&DD,don't feel like a strong person, only got through it all for the sake of the kids and OH,if I didn't have them I would have nothing left, now sounding morbid again.
On a brighter note, yeh my backs aching too all that digging,I have to confess that I popped in to Tesco and bought some heat rub,not a branded one just their own make, but boy does it do the job and pheeeeeeew does it stink,no romance tonight unless OH rubs his back too and we can smell together

  • Hi Livinginhope

I'm sending you huge hugs (((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))) because I'm a bit useless when it comes to giving advice! I do hope everything works out for you. It sounds like you have a lovely family, and at the end of the day, as long as they, and you are ok, thats all that really matters.

    lots of love and luck
