I've not posted on here for ages but I am still trying to be DFW most of the time and stick to the small changes to make

- Had a NSD!
- Made soup out of HM stock and dried pulses x portions for work lunch and freezing
- Played free scratchie
- Used up practically OOD mackeral for lunch (instead of chucking out) rest for work tomorrow, packed up in fridge ready
- Used beetroot in above salad I roasted earlier in the week (instead of chucking out as usual
) - Had basics chocolate mousse for tea last night instead of buying a fancy expensive dessert

I had just cancelled my never used breakdown policy when we managed to be involved in an accident on the motorway, a tow to a breakdown depot and 3 days storage until car was scrapped cost me £270:eek::eek: Needless to say I am now well covered in case it ever happens again.:o
PS I agree with T - riding in a breakdown truck is fab
Ouch! What an expensive lesson. :eek:0 -
So sorry Lurlene, hope the car is fixable!!
My DH is a roadside patrol (for the yellow ones, as opposed to the oranges ones, iyswim
) & the surcharges for joining "on the spot", ie when you are already broken down, are quite scary. Cannot recommend enough to have breakdown cover!!!
And yes, he is a very nice man. Oh a very very nice man. What a nice man. :rotfl::rotfl:0
