i've had to seriously think about this after hitting B&Q and buying three internal doors, and buying two baby guinea pigs but....
I borrowed BIL & car to get doors home, bought them £5 of much needed goodies rather than pay £20 delivery charge.
    i've checked online accounts
    done my scratchcards only 2x10p
got two loads of washing dry, one at 30 on a wool (short) wash and other overnight on cheap leccy
piggies have been in run eating the grass so saving on leccy for the lawn mower (see i can justify them! ) lol
i'm going to do a bit of tidying up as well, which is my most hated chore. I've finished scrapbooking our honeymoon so the scrapbooking stuff can go away again

Hi everyone - what a quiet thread. Hope it's because people are out enjoying the sunshine!

    Today I
    1) SC x10p

    2) LSD - just £1.20 parking and £1 on a contraption that I think will revolutionise my whole life! It is a thingy you snap over a can of drink to turn it into a resealable bottle. I'm ridiculously excited about it. :o

    3) Spent the day mooching about Poole market and wandering around Poole Park.

    4) Sold 2 things on Netmums STC - £35 wahey!

    5) Looked for a secondhand fridge on t'internet as ours is on its way out.

    6) Researched getting ferry to Isle of Wight. I'd better get my skates on as I don't want to swim there with all our luggage!

    7) Used up odds and sods for dinner before I had to throw them out.

    8) Checked bank, quidco etc etc

    9) Online surveys

10 ) Bought 2 x Naked products from clearance at Boots BOGOF and paid in points.

I doubt I shall do much excting tonight other than watch Outnumbered. Did you know that not only is Jake's real-life Dad the famous !!!!!! merchant Ben Dover - but Karen's proper Dad plays the barman in Hotel Babylon? My fact of the day.

We are off to Somerset for the day tomorrow to visit OH's Gran, so hopefully a LSD apart from fuel.

Hope your weekend is a good one.

    Good morning Everyone

Been up for a while now - spent ages on this site as usual!

I went into town yesterday with OH as we had a few things to do. While we could have mooched around the shops and picked up things - I knew I had everything I needed! In the past I would spent money on things that I didn't need or already had! I'm always proud of these little moments! :money:

I still need to take things a bit slowly as I still needed to have sleep in the afternoon yesterday (I have never slept in the afternoon:o).

    My list for today:
    • [STRIKE]Blend soup and freeze in portions[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Need to mow the lawn (am trying to talk OH into helping)[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Hang up washing[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Wash another load[/STRIKE]
    • Strip and re-make bed
    • [STRIKE]Ironing - at least 30 mins today[/STRIKE]
    • Make lunch for tomorrow - need to back into the habit of taking lunches into work
    • Call friend using free minutes
    • [STRIKE]Visit parents[/STRIKE]
    • Finish 'order of service' for wedding so OH and I can start planning the things we need to do for the day STARTED
    • [STRIKE]Check bank accounts[/STRIKE]
    • Move money around
    • Update spending diary for yesterday
    • go for a walk - need to get back into some exercise. Finally found my pedometer.
    • SPARKLE
    That's all folks!
