going to a 50th birthday party tonight,so i have just made a card.
os wise not too much today but a little ms food shopping
got a couple of cooking gadgets with my birthday money perfect:D

Meant to be off to Kerry this morning, but its not happening....the father of one of DD2s friends died yesterday so she wanted to at least see the family before we headed off, so start delayed until pm....until we woke up this morning to discover that our car had been stolen during the night! No idea how they got in but even took the keys, on which is the key for my brother's front door, he is away at present so am terrified that they will break in there as he had a massive burglary at the end of last year. I felt very sorry for you when i read this:A I hope that you can get a car sorted soon And please dont stand any cr*p off the inshureance company. when i was alowed to i had a motobike. And i bourt one brand new. I had had it 118 months and i jad just made the last payment on the bike a few weeks befoere when it was stolen from outside my now ex girlfriends house dueing the night. I had load of trouble with the company trying to get me to accept reeal nock down price for the payout:mad: In the end i only got back about 3/4 of what the bike cost . And i had to do with out transport fpr six weeks while thay sorted oy all out. i was fully comp too. Thay really do try it on somtimes. But i do think that thay really tryed it on with me as i was only 20 at the time and i think that thay thourt thay could get away with it.

BargainBird - good luck with the young birds. We had a disastrous race today - sent 9 only got 1 back:eek: and just had a phone call to say one is in Swansea! hopefully the rest will make their way back tomorow.

had a nice day at work today - took 2 service users to Stourport and had a trip up the Severn followed by a picnic in the park.

Tea is HM spicy wedges and burgers(veggie ones for me)

Had a day off today, so enjoyed not having the 120 mile round trip. Went bathroom floor shopping today and seen one I like. No point in getting it just yet though.

Went to a warehouse to get some card making bits. Mum's doing a fair tomorrow whilst I'm at work. Also had the pleasure of visiting Mr T for some bits. And Mum treated me to a cream tea at a farm on the way home:T

Dinner tonight is wraps with meat, salad & humus. I might make a lemon drizzle cake later if I'm awake enough.

The plums are starting to colour, so I'll check them tomorrow as they're all going in some jam. Saw the blackberries are coming out by the roadsides already, so will have to head to the country lanes to look for some - more jam!

No word from the vet about my doggie yet - they should call Monday now.

The one that flew away returned after 4 hours :rolleyes:, and the other 2 that were on next doors roof flew in as soon as she came home :T, all trapped and in now :T

Meanmarie - how awful, sorry to hear that. Car key burglaries are getting more and more common place now, burglars break into houses specifically to look for keys. So many people leave them in the door, very easy to fish out via the letter box or cat flap. Hope your insurance company sorts you out quickly.

We like kidddy too. We had some real barhin off the outdoor market today in the way of Veg,
We also had too beef brisket joints both a good size for £6.00 thats £3.00 each you carnt beet that:T:T
The Twins were not with us, thay were with my wifes mom and dad. But we have taken them with us before and shown them the trains. Not yet took them on a steam train but will soon.

I woke up today feeling awful so to add to my poorly back I now have a really bad cold (hopefully not piggy flu!) and a monstrous headache. My ex MIL took DS1 for the day but said she was too busy to have both. Still it's easier running round after 1 than 2. Put my washing on the line and still lingering out there now, i better go and get it in! haven't done much else. Was going to do a big batch of spag bol but haven't felt up to it. I even fell asleep this afternoon when DS2 had his nap! Not feeling great and my fave prog Casualty is not on so I might have an early night!

Been beautiful here today. Got loads of washing done and finally got my hair cut.

DGal - I left a message on SunnyGirls facebook page but not heard anything and she doesn't appear to have posted much on there either - do hope she is ok.

Marie - ((((Hugs)))) what an awful thing to happen hope you get sorted soon.

My DD is slightly improved today. I spoke to my boss yest (who is her doctor ) and he said to see how she goes and if no better on Monday he will take it from there, but I do think she is improving a little today, still very weak and lethargic but slightly more colour - she looked like a zombie yest:eek: Thank you all for the good wishes:A

Evening all OSers as usual ((hugs)) for poorlies and for those who just need one.

Not a lot of os here for the last week, was off work Mon to Thurs after op the week before. Mon and Tues were washout days, spent the days sleeping or being icky, :eek:. From then on have been sewing, doing fancy dress costumes for me and OH for a party we are going to next weekend, thought I was being OS making them but taking into account all the extras I have bought, prob cheaper to have got ready made costumes, still we will be unique! Had to buy some tartan material for OH and very impressed with the delivery, same with the wigs too. Photos will be posted :eek:;)

Not cooking tonight, getting cheapy takeaway, not feeling bad cos have overdone it today and need a treat. Stitches come out on Tuesday and think will feel a bit better then as they are really pulling! sorry if thats TMI
