Just to say DX is document exchange which business' use. Have a good day.

Yeah and sadly it's about as much use as Royal Mail ;)

Forgot to mention I now know the reason why I have so many white cabbage butterflies. I've noticed that in the school at the back of me they have a lilac tree and they are clustering to the flowers on that  Only then a short fly to my poor veggies the swines........

    Morning all
Lovely day here today, hopefully hubby will mow the lawn & I may try to get some more sewing done.
Next week I need to re-jig the budget as my pay is dropping by £150 a month, lets hope hubby's contract gets extended.
I decluttered my spare room into someone's car, lol, she's an avid car-booter. I'm lazy & can't be bothered, especially as she pays between £10 & £15 for a pitch & is lucky to cover her costs.
    Have a good day everyone.
    Hugs Hester

Been MIA on the OS front so only been lurking and hiding behind the money tree for a couple of weeks, but have come out into the open again!

Lovely and sunny here in the north of England so will head outside as soon as I've breakfasted, washed up, showered and got dressed.

Bacon from the freezer for breakfast - that's sort of OS, isn't it????

Good wishes for a great OS Saturday.

    Morning all,

Beautiful day here :T, the first of three loads is in the wm, will get it all done this morning and on the line.

OH has gone to the boot sale, last week he bought another pair of binoculars for £5, and he put them straight on Ebay, they are over £150, and finish tomorrow :T, that cash will go straight into the moving fund.
Still not found anywhere, but will continue looking, the perfect house is out there, just need to find it .

We need to hoover round, and mop floors today, dd is off with her dad for the day. OH and I will get the dogs out for a walk, my mums dog cannot walk as far as ours, so it will be a shorter walk than normal.

I am doing spagetti for tea, a simple (cheap :D) dish, just fry off some onion, mushrooms garlic, tomatoes, and any old lurking veg, I have some bacon leftover which will go in ours, (not dd's) cook the spag and toss it all together with a bit of cheese on top, costs next to nothing, and its delish.

Need to pick and blanch and freeze my runner beans and carrots at some point.

Bitsy good luck to your hubbie xx

Welcome to all the newbies x

Stef I always do online food shopping, I hate food shopping at the best of times, do you do it through mysupermarket ? this will bring up the cheapest shop for you.

    Have good days all xx

Looks like it will be another sunny day here (although when I said that they other day it chucked it down!!).

Kids are at their Dads, so am just pottering about. Need to have a shower and get dressed, then its off to get a Daily Mail or 2 for the tesco coupons that are in there today, and do a shop. Not much to get, as away from Monday, but am taking some supplies with us to my Mums to try and save her and me some money!

    Have a great day.

Morning All sat in conservatory having a coffee, and a quick read here.

DH is just doing the front windows before the sun gets round to them, and then is threatening to tackle the conservatory roof:eek::eek:.

Made the tuna pasta bake last night and served a quarter each, asked DH if he wanted any more but he said no he was full, so two portions now frozen. I find if I do that we get freeze some, but if I put half out for him, he will try to eat 3/4's and then will have to throw the rest away. He isn't a massive eater anyway, and a quarter was plenty for me.

Due to the nice weather, and the nice clean patio make BBQ tonight, need to do a freezer search also, but there is plenty in there. Neighbour gave me some HG cherry tomatoes yesterday, so had some on my sandwich yesterday lunch and others will go into a salad if we have a BBQ. (Not in one place long enough to grow anything other than perenials:o)

Plenty of Red Admiral and Cabbage Whites on my Budleia - great to watch.

Anyone heard from or been in touch with Sunnygirl - she's not posted since 22nd July when she was not very well?
Hope you feel better soon Pen-Pin

    Morning all :hello:

Another beautiful day by the looks of it

Its my niece's wedding this PM so I hope the weather behaves itself ;)
It will be a happy/sad day as her Mum (my sister) died suddenly a while ago, so it will be tissues at the ready,
She has made me promise not to make eye contact with her as she walks up the aisle, she does'nt want to be in tears when she reaches the altar.

There will be a buffet at her house afterwards but the wedding "do" will be next Saturday for some reason

No idea about food today but Pizza for Dinner tonight.

halight - glad the twins did so well yesterday,
tired mum - hope you and DS have a good day at the camp
Hester - fingers crossed for OH's contract
Bitsy - good luck for Mr Bitsy today, rather him than me why do bicycle saddles never "fit" properly???
redruby - ooo well done to your OH, hope you find your dream house soon, it will be there when you least expect it
helyg - enjoy your camping weekend hope the weather stays fine.

Hope all the poorlys feel better soon xx

Better go get sorted still need to try my dress on, I hope it still fits
    Have good days all
