Hi Verbatim - thanks for the words of support - i WAS under a huge amount of stress - it was making me ill and really getting me down - but I decided to pull the bull by it's horns and tell hubby exactly where i thought the business was headed - downwards - now i look back there were highs and lows and i've learned some invaluable lessons that i wouldn't have done otherwise. But all in all were a lot better off working for someone else. My books for 04-05 finally got done - and my books for 05-06 are in now. Just got to prepare cessation accounts for the last 6 months and then thats the end of that and boy am i glad!!

  • I agree - I think you're far better off in your new job than being self employed & I'm glad you are getting your books sorted too! You must be so relieved :T

Hi there - yes it is a relief - and even more so that the books are getting sorted - for those of you who know me - you will all remember what stress i was under regarding both these issues - I'm really going for the big life change this year too!! I've lost 10 and half pounds in weight (up to last saturday) - only weigh in on saturdays!! and am aiming for a goal of 9stone 7lbs - with all the stress, depression and comfirt eating i really let myself go and went up to 13stone 3 lbs - last saturday was 12stone 6.5 lbs so its brill for the time ive actually been dieting - started on the 2nd jan - all wish me luck and i'll let you know when im back to a skimpy size 10!!

    Thanks ever so:-

    Goals for 2007:-

Stay on track financially - save for xmas etc and get IN CONTROL of money - instead of it controlling me!

Reach my Goal weight of 9st 7lbs.

Stop worrying what everyone else thinks of me and stop comparing myself with others (which i do an unhealthy amount of!!) !!

ermmmm.... prob a few more to add but thems the majors!!

Hey Lynz!! Good luck for the new job - you'll be ace!! No snacking for me either - it's been hardest at night coz thats when i used to snack the most - daytimes are not a problem for me - on the one hand feel really positive but on the other soooo dissapointed in myself for letting myself go and putting on all this weight - feels like it's not my body - ok then- got to stay positive and focused - i WILL be a size 10 and weight 9stone 7lbs for a possible holiday in July - lost 10.5 so far - lots more to go though - i will keep everyone updated tho!! Wish me luck guys!!
