I know - i thought it was prob double that - however - theres a few in that amount that need paying like 'yesterday' - would be ok but ive got everyday bills too and also the stock which as i say pay for as i get it - dont owe anything there - paid all 05/06 business rates off this week (was about £348) so up to date with that but behind with this years. This and the IR are my main ones to tackle over the next couple of weeks - if i can manage a bill a week i'll be a happy bunny.............wish me luck!!

Well done you, you're doing really well!!!!! You'll be straight in now time at all.
Honestly, don;t worry about your accounts so much, The worst that will happen is the tax will get their people to look at your books, and as long as you're not drug running on the side, they'll just give you a bill for the diffenrece between their figures and theirs. They won;t lock you up, or close you down for a few honest mistakes - not when there's fat cats out there fiddling millions in tax.
Well done again love, yo've done so well recently. Give yourself a pat on the back, and have a big cream cake. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

dottyanne wrote:Hoya Lynz and Pobby!! TBH my Dad is really good with figures and once ive gone through them i will let my hubby look at them and even maybe my dad. Was working out how much the business owes in bills and overdue bills and its about £1900 - this sounds a lot but if you consider this is for everything as we pay for stock with cheques when we collect - we have no business loan or overdraft then its not as bad as i thought - and on a positive if theres not as much pressure to take out more money to cover personal outgoings (as going through CCCS on a DMP) then i should be able to catch up sooner than later....................any thoughts???

£1900 owed on the business!Flipping heck----my customers would rip off their clothes and dance naked in the street if thats all they owed on theirs. What a brill result.Obi is correct about the tax bit.The taxman is not looking for little traders to get at.If, and believe me it`s a mighty great if,you ever had a tax inspection it would be a breeze unless you are having mighty great wads of cash in ya back pocket, which you are not.Now relax and have that meal out! xx0 -
Just wanted to look in & say hi!! Sounds like you've had a cack week but that things are looking up? Agree with Lynz about having some time off & chilling a bit, as well as a good cry! One thing I realised on hol was that I need to get a balance (says she back on here!!) & that too much time on here can be quite wearing as so many tales of people like us struggling so hard & wanting to help IYKWIM? Hope you have a lovely meal & feel a bit happier soon...you're doing so well & musnt forget to underestimate that! Huge hugs!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Dotty - you are doing AMAZINGLY well hun. When you first come on here I was overwhelmed by your level of debt, moreso because it was complicated (I hope you dont mind me saying that!) - but you have done bl**dy well in staying positive and turning your situation around. I am very impressed with everything you have done & am very proud. It's nice to know that someone else has found this board & is working their way to being debt free - just keep up the excellent work. You will get there hun, and I'll definately be checking in ocasionally to hear how you're getting on.
Big hugs & best wishes.
