Thanks to everybody for responding, its nice to know people care.
I've had a bad few days and just can't be bothered to do anything. This afternoon though i'm feeling slightly motivated and im going to do a spreadsheet and work out exactly what i can spend each month and where i can use any extra money to pay of my debts. I've spoken to my mortgage broker and my mortgage should complete this week, so thats another job done.
Again thanks for replying and your kind words and suggestions, it makes me feel much better knowing some people know how i feel.

Just wanted to pitch in a bit of advice. I had the whole sleepless nights thing and 6 months off work with depression and the way I got out of it was meditation. You dont have to go all "religious" if thats not your cup of tea, but what i used to do was light some incense candles, put on very relaxing music, piano music mainly and just sit comfortably, close my eyes and just drift off. Not to sleep, but away from all my worries.
A year later, im a much happier person but as commented from other people, it takes time to get back on your feet again. Cant comment on the nails and eyeliner though :rotfl:.
Hope you feel better soon x0 -
Hi, I just came across your post when looking through the different forums as I am relatively new to this website and while I haven't been through what you're dealing with now, I just wanted to say good luck to you. I have had the sleepless nights due to worrying about things (such as money!!) and can't think what it must be like with the divorce hanging over your head as well.
However, I think people have offered really good advice and it also shows that people do get through it so just keep grabbing at any motivation you can - as cheesy as that sounds - and I'm sure that you'll make it through. As the others have said, keep posting about any worries you have and we can all try help you solve them!

Hi Janninew...
Words of wisdom from Wol as usual......she has a way with words that one...but what she is describing is sooooo right.
I split up from my husband years ago now when I was 24 and even though it was my decision it still knocked me for six.....so my sympathies are with you.
Feel free to post on the daily chat thread at any point, if its just to vent or even just say hi.....:hello:Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford
