Oooh -I've never posted on this thread before but watching Gastronomy Economy last night on I-player after reading the thread on here has inspired me so here goes:

Saturday - Cheese & tomatoes/onion on toast (son – ham & tomato toasty) – don't want anything too heavy as out tonight but then again; one does need to line one's stomach :o

Sunday - Chile con Carne wraps (yep Gastronomy Economy recipe & making double on Sunday)

Monday – Chile con Carne & baked spuds

Tuesday – Home made chicken nuggets, cous cous & garlic bread

Wednesday – Moroccan lamb casserole, mashed spuds & Broccoli

Thursday – Macaroni cheese & crusty bread (again Gastronomy Economy recipe)

Friday – Bacon, lettuce & tomato sarnies

I've even printed it off & stuck it on the fridge - written my list & off to the shops in a bit

Have a nice day folks! :T

This may look excessively forward planning :o but most of this is sat portioned up in my freezer and I'm looking forward to being able to see space in my freezer again! To put new goodies in next month. :rotfl:

Plus my parents are coming up to help us sort out the new house this weekend so I'd best feed them well :D

Even better, that menu doesn't require a single trip to the supermarket! :j

Would you possibly tell me how you make those meals? I know it's a big ask but I'm sat here drooling! :p

They sound amazing, particularly the gratin and my mum would love the fish stew with fennel.
