Never said you were a troll????

Not new to ebay, been on there since beginning of 2003

maybe you don't need things urgently so then why bother purchasing then until you do need something?, its not fair to keep the seller hanging on, I'm sure you'd soon be complaining if after you'd paid the seller decided to wait a week or so before sending it to you

    Misquote, that was to zenseeker.

What's not fair, that's the way it works, you can pay later within allowed payment period, that's waht you can & are allowed to do.

Unless you use Immmediate Payment option which should be clearly visible at top listing level, as it used to be.

Fair enough I'm not going to convince many, because you are all gullible & taken in by these methods, thinking oh it's wonderful, when really it's just another way for ebay to push people through a route they want.

the only issue for me with immediate payment is when paypal is playing up
means you can lose out on an item you would buy there and then

I have never used "Buy It Now" unless I was planning to pay immediately as making the seller wait in this instance is just plain rude and ignorant.

eBay have not hidden this, they have made it quite clear to find if you can be bothered to look...I figured it out within a few seconds.

The op is just engaged in typical trolling activity, these creatures are best ignored otherwise they just waffle on and on convinced of their own self righteous (and usually ill thought out) opinion...all other opinions are wrong by default

Best way to deal with this is to ignore it, it'll drive the OP nuts.
    Don't exagerrate & chill out.
Sounds like you are a new to ebay, if you've only used Buy It Now in that limited way.

Just because you don't agree with someone, doesn't mean they are a troll.

It's the choice to pay later, maybe 1 hour later, maybe 1-2 days later.

Most things I buy on ebay, I don't need urgently.

So for that reason the seller should wait for payment?

Erm no, it's the SELLER that's specifying the 'immediate payment' not ebay.

What's wrong with the seller waiting a bit ??

Yes, the seller is specifying it & it used to be visible on the main listing page.

Now it's hidden one level below.

Now you only know it's Immediate Payment AFTER you click on Buy It Now button (unless you happen to have clicked on payment details).

That's the problem, the buyer does NOT know until afterwards.

Why should we have to wait for buyers to pay when they've used buy it now? Auction, fair enough, but why the problem with using buy it now and paying straightaway?

You still haven't answered other questions posed to you in the thread. Why are you being picky about what you respond to?
