I think most women hoard cleaning products and toiletries, probably why we are so good at being DFWs as we have the 'bargain' gene! :rotfl: I don't go up certain aisles in the supermarket anymore as things I do not need leap into my trolley ... despite this policy my cleaning products have been breeding under the sink.
Stardrops works better than most other cleaners - there is a whole thread on the Old Style board! Don't buy the sprays buy the orange liquid and dilute it yourself; it's much cheaper in Home Bargains and Wilkinsons than the supermarket. You can use the same cleaning product for loads of jobs instead of having a separate one for bathroom and kitchen etc. :TDeclutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
I must look in Morrisons for the Stardrops general cleaner. I looked in Tesco but they don't do any Stradrops and I looked in our local hardware shop too.
Not that you will need to buy any Jellie for the next year by the sound of things! LOL. I can't talk though, DD was clearing out drawers yesterday and
found loads of perfume and toiletries packed away (for 2 plus years I guess)!0 -

Glad it's not just me. As I started reading I was thinking 'oops I forgot to to look for Stardrops in Tesco' then when you said I don't need to buy any I remembered that I had deliberately skipped the cleaning product aisle.
Firefox- as you say this successfully stopped the products leaping out and mugging me  Sometimes I need to turn the bargain gene off.
OK supermarket shop today- any ideas on how I can do better or on things to make would be appreciated (bearing in mind I have quite a lot in fridge, freezer and cupboards)

Time for a to do list I think
1. Sort out HIP pack
2. Spend some time gardening
3. Finish sorting out loft
4. Get some flying done
5. Decide on meals to make for next couple of days
6. Look at class lists for next year and plan mark books
7. Finish any leftover marking
Looks like enough to get started with!!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
Busy day for you Jellie. I take it you are on holidays from school? It was the marking that gave it away. LOL.
Sorry I'm not much help with you re your shopping list, but I bet over on the OS board if you posted a thread, you would get loads of advice. My shopping/food/wastage etc needs improvement, I am getting there, but still very early days with lots of room for improvement!0 -

I might take your advice and head over to OS Prim. Although maybe I've soaked up enough from there to have a go alone! Busy day got hijacked as had to get house stuff done quicker than expected. I'll focus on getting school stuff done next week- you're right I'm lucky enough to be a teacher on holiday....starting to panic about running out of time to get sorted for next year :eek:2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
I'm envious of your holidays, but not of a classful of 30 kids! Enjoy your last few weeks of peace and quiet!
You managed to get some stuff from your list done, so that's good.0 -

Just going to defrost a meal from freezer today. I'm a bit worn out from all the cooking yesterday. Made about 4 portions of chicken curry and 7 of chicken coup....good for the soul :rotfl:
Lots to do again today but I'm feeling really tired so may not be that productive!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0
