Yes, I believe it does. Payments sent by FP after 3pm on a working day role into the next working day. This happened to me. I transferred from First Direct to Egg on a Friday at 3.41pm and it was not credited until the Monday. Note this is an internal Egg thing only - they will have received the FP you sent today, they just choose to apply it in their own time.
