Have to say,,,the beach was lovely,,,so clean.
The room was ok, we went for classic same as you but it needed a lick of paint, a good clean and really needed new carpets,,,grand daughters loved it there, wanted to stay a bit longer,,,,the lift still isnt working so it was a pain getting the buggy up and down the stairs as theres no ramp.Could have a bit more to do on site but the town made up for this,,,,,,,we are just about to book with pontins for next year at Blackpool as its at a bargain price at the mo,,,,,0 -
Glad you had a good time (apart from the lift been up the creak)
The Very Right Honourable Lady Tarry of the Alphabetty thread-I just love finding bargains and saving moneyI love to travel as much as I can when I canLife has a way to test you, it's how you deal with this that matters0 -

Can't see them fixing the lift or giving anywhere a lick of paint as earlier this year the company that owns Pontins announced it plans to knock down Camber Sands and rebuild. I have to admit part of my will be quite sad, I like the setup as it is now and wish they'd put the money into renovating rather than rebuildinghey there's no money but we couldn't be happier if we tried
