Have a fantastic holiday :) Just so you know, the shop (Nisa today) on the outside of the complex closes at 10pm, but the minimart stays open to midnight.

After eating in the restaurant on the day we arrived, we went and found a supermarket the next day, and cooked our own meals from then on. Each to their own, but we found the restaurant expensive, and the food dismal and almost cold.

  • The food in the restaurant and on site was expensive we got the bus to rye went to the big supermarket there that was much better:D. As for the site well the chalet was ok not as bad as i had expected it was not 5 * more like 2* the noise outside every night was unbearable security dont seem to patrol and we had to phone them each night to sort it out. . . . . . . the pool wasnt clean, changing rooms stank, dont think the loos were ever cleaned. Blue coats were great :T entertainment was good :rotfl:Beach at Camber fantastic :T my daughter loved it there. All in all it needs a overhaul and a face lift the weather was fab so that really helped. Bar expensive look at the vouchers and use them even though some bar staff dont like you using them. Rye on Thursday is the market well worth a trip lovely town.

    hope this helps x

  • A couple of years ago we went to Camber Sands over the new year for 6 days and had a pretty good time. Rye is a fantastic little town, it's also worth visiting the fascinating cluster of wooden cottages around Dungeness. The only disappointment was we were told there were discounts for foot passanger crossings to France from Dover but when we got there we couldn't get them, the Pontins staff had either never heard of them of weren't interested.
    Out on blue six..

  • We have stayed at camber a few times now, love the beach there. We stayed in the Park resorts park just up the road from pontins. Cant say a bad word about the place, and can get some cracking deals if you go at the right times.
