  • Stir fry them with a little chopped red cilli, put on a stick when cooked. Serve with a little yogurt with sweet chilli sauce mixed together as a dip.

Alternatively, make a tempura batter (flour and water), deep fry and serve with a dip.

how small is a small packet? They are so morish that they go really quickly.

I would marinade in oil with loads of garlic, then fry or grill, and serve them just like that with some crusty bread to mop up excess oil

As my previous suggestion. Nice and simple and so tasty.

I always try to buy a bag of raw (frozen) "tail on shrimp" as they are called in Costco for the freezer, but have run out and really fancy some now!

Help!! this morning in Tesco hubby saw packs of King Prawns 2 or £4 so I bought them when I went to put them in the freezer it says 'not suitable for home freezing' I assume this means they have been frozen already... Now I am stuck as we already bought steak for dinner tonight and are going out for Sunday lunch with family tomorrow .. the use by date is 13th Tuesday so any suggestions what I can do with them .. Hubby won't eat them and I was going to do something with rice for myself but there will be far too many for me alone... any suggestions welcome otherwise I guess I will have to give them to my BIL so at least they get used up...

You'll be able to refreeze them once they are cooked - did your rice thing involve putting the prawns in a sauce? If so, just do extra and batch freeze.
