Regaining my sparkle! Milly's diary part 2

Arghhh damn Uni - right now I have until August to finish my work, that wont happen. I emailed to ask about applying for further deferment. I have to fill in a form and send more evidence, which I'll have to ask the hospital for - the board meet at Uni at the end of August to decide - so what if I don't get the work done then they decide I can't have extra time?? Wish I knew how much redoing the year would cost, but can't get an answer from them...and by the time I do, I'll have to have my work in for this year....so cofusing:(

Also, I was stupid and bought a toasted sandwich maker today....argh I'm so not focused right now.

But I have just done a Pinecone survey so that's £3 earned!! I have a few things to list on ebay - must do it this week. Got my mobile, it's a lovely Samsung Jet, touchscrenn one but I hate texting with a touchscrenn so gone back to my old phone. Need to find the instruction book and list it - they go for about £100;)

Dinner's nearly ready - hm curry, dd2 just woken up, that late night last night has left the pair of us shattered - and not heard from dd1, guess they've arrived!!!

I'm just in one of those moods when I can't motivate myself to do any work, I hate myself for it, but can't get inspired today....booooo:(:(

I should go to the library tomorrow - can't get distracted with housework and rearranging the kitchen (as happened today)...or nip out to buy sandwich makers:o:o

One bit of good news tho - I got a Next sale VIP slot, for the very first time!! Seen a few nice tops, mostly for work, always needed. Luckily the girls don't like Next stuff any more so won't be too bad for my purse:D

He he at your girls not liking next anymore, neither does my DS he's 14 now and won't be seen dead in next, it's just not the right brand. They are funny aren't they!
I know you say you're not motivated but you are still posting on here which is great, it means you're thinking about moneysaving in some way shape or form, I find it makes me own up to the naughty spending I've done I can't lie on here, otherwise my totals don't add up. If I'm posting I'm behaving.

I'll definitely keep posting here to try and keep me on the straight and narrow:o I think I've been a bit lax as my housing benefit went up, due to student loan not being taken into account over the summer. I just felt like I had more spare cash, so it's been frittered away it seems. In all honesty I've not spent a huge amount - the sandwich maker a couple of books off Amazon (£3 each), cd at £7, breakfast in Mcdonalds yesterday...could be worse I guess, I've not booked a holiday!!

I now need to find the motivation/inclination to do my Uni work....it's just not happening at the mo:o A night on the sofa, early night and hopefully I'll be sparkling tomorrow:)

I've not heard a peep from eldest, the little monkey! Admittedly she hasn't got her phone with her but she does have my number and the home number in a notebook in her bag - guess she's having too much fun to think of old mother;)

It's dull and rainy here today - I should go to the library but not in the mood. I must do some work, the presentation needs to be written and presented by the end of July. I'm just confused - sometimes I want to restart the year, other times I think I can get this year finished. I'm cross with the Uni, they've been no help:o My tutors are great but they're at a partner college not based at Uni.

Taking dd2 to school today as it's wet, I'm too kind. But at least it makes me get dressed, make up on, so I can crack on with other stuff early.

Takeing dd2 to the optician after school and we're having KFC for dinner as a treat while dd1 away. It's these damn treats though I need to stop;) Off to get dressed...

Milly how about writing a list of pro's and con's of continuing Uni this year or next (if you haven't already). You could post it on here or do it privately. How much more have you got to do to complete this year?

I haven't written a list, though have thought of it - think I will, thanks.
I've probably got about a third of the course still to do - I'm very confused about what's the right decision:o
I have until August to do it, but that won't happen. But....they can't tell me whether I can have more time until the end of August. So I might get to the end of August, have done a lot but not all, then they say sorry, no more time and I'm stuffed!! I'm fed up emailing the uni and not getting a firm answer...whether about the fees, extra time or restarting...grrrr:mad:

Had an email from E-On wanting new meter readings, so have just done that. I looked at my usage and it's much less than last time - especially the gas:beer: I'm already in credit, plus they reduced my direct debit last time, so will be more in credit now and build it up for the winter.

Urghhh I've just had to buy both girls some new uniform. DD2 going to secondary in Sept and they've changed the uniform, so dd1 needs more too:mad: They've decided to be awkward and go to dark grey skirts/trousers now so cant use the black skirts that we have loads of - typical. I've got a list on the fridge of what I've spent so far - including PE kit, I've spent £150...oh my:eek: Useless ex knows he owes me half....but considering he still owes me £150 for the school trips, I won't hold my breath for the uniform money! He gives £50 a month toward the trips - pathetic, especially as DD2's been on hers and DD1 there now - good job we didn't rely on his share....prat. Funny though - he's in Ibiza right now, reckons his gf paid it all....yeah right:mad:
