  • No laptop for the weekend....booooo:rolleyes:
I am enjoying the time on my own, doing not very much;) Girls will be back at tea time tonight. All I plan to do today is a bit of tidying, ironing and that's about it!

The Crohn's pain has been niggling again this week, so I'm making sure I just rest and try not to let it flare up again. Hospital are nigh on useless - I've still not seen anyone about the results of the *urgent* scan I had at the very start of June:confused:

Anyway - moneywise, looking OK. Not spent much this week apart from grocery shopping last wed of £60 and a bag for DD1 for school, £16.

And....today on my scratchcards I had £5, 25p and 10p:beer: Very excited - takes me to £14 on one so I can withdraw.

Must get off and showered now then will do the ironing in front of the TV.

  • And......(drum roll)...I've just paid off Marshall Ward:j
I just realised I'd said I'd do it by the time I started college (which I thought would be next Wed, but it's this coming wedd...eeeek!)...but the money was sat in my spending account so thought I'd just pay it off....very pleased!:D

  • Congratulations on paying off one piece of your debt and good luck with the illness. It might be worth chasing the hospital about your scan....

    Hi Shaun,
Urgh I rang the hospital just over a week ago - they had told me in August that the doc I saw would ring me when he returned from his holiday, on Aug 18th...but I heard nothing. When I rang last week they say he's not with them now and I'll see someone else, they'll send me an appt out at the start of Oct:confused: The doctor wanted to see me with he results of the scan to decide whether I need surgery to remove th sore bit or to try a new medication - so still waiting to hear....hopeless!!!

I might ring again this week though as I worry about what will happen if it gets worse....what with sarting Uni this week and working the rest of the week I can't be unwell:rolleyes::D

  • Well done Milly, just think how much interest you've saved by nipping that one in the bud. Good for you x

    Hi again Milly

My advice is to chase them particularly if you are not feeling well. My brother had a combination of me and hepatitis and whilst the NHS offers treatment it is often at a very slow pace unless you keep chasing them....

Have you told them that you haven't been feeling well?

So, wish me luck...will report back soon:j
