Purebred breeder T&Cs

I do not know how people keep a pup or dog in a trailer! The only people I have seen with a dog in anything on a bike is small, older toy (little lap dog type) breeds in the basket!
Unless you can harness it in securely in some way, I dont think it is safe - my dog will walk off lead perfectly, until she sees a cat, then will want to go and investigate - it would be pretty awful to find out what interests your pup if it lead to it scrambling out of the trailer to investigate whilst you are cycling on a busy main road.
The profile of an adult dog who would happily sit in a trailer is likely to be very different than one who will walk for miles with you, so I guess you need to know which sort of activity you will want the dog to join you in before you can decide what sort of dog you want.0 -

I checked - you can harness them.
BTW: We visited a breeder yesterday, met her (working) cocker spaniels and instantly fell in love. There was one occasion where four cocker spaniels were bolting towards us, legs pounding. They moved like lighting, had an immense zest for life, and were completely beautiful. Just a force of nature in a dog-sized package.
She had a couple of labs too (also working lines), but they didn't captivate us anywhere like as much. Luckily, the cocker spaniels seemed to like us too. Being surrounded by bouncy dogs was a great experience. Yeah, I know they'll wreck our furniture, but we don't own anything (except computers) that we wouldn't mind a cocker spaniel leaping onto.
Thanks everyone for the advice. We still feel a bit under-researched, but I think we're sorted now :j0 -

Theres a fella over here who has had custom made leather padded carriers fitted to his trike for his two boxers.
One on either side of the bike - complete with goggles and leather helmets0
