sorted it - the answer is 'yes' you can stop 1 or more people seeing your status update.

    afternoon all.

Brain pick time - is it possible to restrict 1 person on FB as to what they can see? Or does everyone have to have the same settings? I want to stop someone seeing my status updates but I don't know if I can be that specific.

If you go into Privacy Settings, then Profile, go to 'Status and Links'.. select 'Customise' then it lets you put in exceptions.. so you can set it to all friends except for the one you name. Haven't tried it myself but I think that would be the place to do it!

    Edit.. too late :D

  • Hey all

Been lurking around MSE for some time - and have become embroiled in the daily life of the daily chatterers. I first came across DFW daily chat around the time ladies were discussing beetroot = purple pee (which, as a man brought up questions in my head better left unsaid).:o

Decided that my first post to say hi should therefore be here where the funniest, nicest, geniune and, in the nicest possible way, the barking mad people seem to be. If I can get my behind in gear, and actually face up to things, I aim to post more over the next few weeks more about me, my debt and stuff.

For now, just a brief hello and i'll crawl back under my stone...

  • They were 'medium' last night. Have they shrunk?

From past experiences, I was constantly assured that they were medium but when it came to it they always turned out to be small. ;)

    Afternoon all

yep - that's just how you do it squizz. Never had to play with the settings before, but someone has told a little fib about me due to sour grapes and whilst it has backfired a bit in their face and I have come out of it squeaky clean, they were certainly being sneaky and this is a good way of blocking my status without blatantly dropping them.
