Thanks for this advice, seems like the sensible thing to do! I will put everything in writing this afternoon and post it to my neighbours. Also would it be worth contacting the lettings agent that they rent the house off if its not sorted out and they do refuse to pay? Obviously if they pay up i will be quite happy to let it go and let bygones be bygones!

If they don't pay up and there is obviously still some tension then I can't see that contacting the letting agent will do any harm but if you can get them to pay and reslove this (as amicably as possible although this will be hard)_ then I'd maybe be inclined to let it go. If however there were any more issues then I'd certainly let them know, good luck !

    Thanks All

I posted the letter this afternoon, i wasn't aggresive and have given him 7 days to pay me the money. I put the 2 quotes that i have received and told him that i am quite happy for him to get his own quote if he thinks he can find an alternative garage that would fix it cheaper. Just have to wait and see now!!
