Hi Pammy, what's dragonology? Books about dragons? Hope it sells for you! I'm fed up with eb&y, resent paying listing (apart from this weekend), final value weekend and P*ypal fees, and I think I lost money the last time I listed something so have given up on it as a bad job. That and I don't have anything worth selling any more, lol.
Anyway, I'm back home with DD......with my dad's car, which is going to give me a logistical nightmare later in the week swapping cars around *sigh*. Turns out that whilst I have bought bulbs for the brake lights, I need some fancy schmancy screwdriver to get them in. Grrr.
Also spent rather a lot of money on a fake christmas tree. I am shocked and disappointed with myself for going down the fake route...I had always promised myself I wouldn't, but I do have to be realistic, I'm a single woman with a bad back that isn't likely to get significantly better, lugging a 6 foot real tree up 2 steps into the house is always going to be tricky, so this is the way to go. Anyway, because it was quite pricy, it does look quite realistic, both in shape and greenness, so sure I'll love it soon!
Have booked a hotel in France for our last night at the end of our August holiday - £8 extra bonus on Qu1dco and 2 or 3% off it. Some hotels I looked at were already booked up, I thought I was the only overly eager person, but oh no!
Gawd, I do like to waffle on don't I....oh well, it's my diary so guess I'm allowed to
The diet was so-so again today, hmmm, my head wasn't where it should be, how pants am I?!
Right, bed is calling, nighty night0 -
As a single mum as well I was quite proud of myself that I could change the bulbs in my car, had never had to do it before!
Dont worry about the xmas tree, I have had a fake one for the past few years and its quite nice not to have to go and get one anymore.
Hope DD is ok now, my DD has this horrible rash which I am having to give in and take her docs cos I want nice pics at xmas lol
I like a good waffle kit so carry on! Gawd I do it on my own diary
I am thinking that maybe the diet could start after xmas? too many temptations over the next few weeks. start afresh for the new year maybe?MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

I weighed myself this morning and once the scales had stopped groaning and saying "no coach parties" etc etc, I realised that actually, something has to be done now! So, it'll be lots of fruit and NO CHOCOLATE and other carp for a while......until I can stop taking painkillers and go back on LL, using up the packs I've paid for and making sure I lose more weight quickly (I'm still v. overweight)!
I've set up a f00d focus diary so that should keep me on the straight and narrow!0 -
Well, another DVD sold yesterday, so will have £17.XX on its way to the bank account shortly
I put the tree up last night and it looks gorgeous, even quite close up, you'd think it was real - phew! The only problem is, I can't find the decorations and DD and I are dying to do them. I think I'm going to have to go into the loft tonight, but I don't remember putting them up there....hmm....the house isn't that big, they can't be far!0 -
Glad the tree looks good, just think of the money you will save next year when you dont have to buy one
I dont use my loft thankfully cos a) its hard to get up there and b) the hatch is so small you could only fit a shoe box through it!!
I have a claim thing going on at the moment and then I might look at getting a new hatch and loft ladders put in in a different place BUT that could be dangerous as I would then hoard so much stuff lol. Perhaps better saving my moneyMPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

My loft has LOADS of cardboard boxes for things I no longer have and not much else, but I do need to have a bit of a clear out
Haven't been !!!!!d to hunt down the decorations yet, have been a bit out of sorts tonight after someone called my house asking for an ex boyfriend, the man who completely broke my heart 2 years ago. It was a shock to hear the ex's name, and I don't know who this person is, so I've just emailed the ex and passed on the phone number and feel sad *sigh*.0 -
Woohoo! Another CD bites the dust, £5.57 will come my way soon
Must find the decorations today, DD is desperate to see the tree with a bit more on it. She put a packet of raisins on there yesterday, I think it was a hint!0 -
I came across a box of old tape cassettes this week; is there any market for them these days?0
-
Actually - I have put a couple of audio story cassettes on Amaz*n just this weekend, so fingers crossed they'll sell.
The best way to check is to go onto the website and type in the bar code and it'll bring up what value, if any, there is. Good luck!0 -

Don't know, but you can search on ebay for comlpeted items.
I do this all the time before decided if it's worthwhile selling something.0
